Spiders are your friend. I'll fight you to the death to keep one of nature's better pest controls around. At least kill fucking mosquitoes.
I don't like them either but they are better pollinators than butterflies and visit more plants than bees
That would be a very short-sighted thing to do. Basically something Karl Pilkington would think was a great idea.
Snap mosquitoes away instead, that way my ankles won't look like I steeped them in boiling water all summer long.

Mosquitoes. They benefit nothing except mosquito fish, and that's on the fish for developing such a specific diet. Bats have a heavier diet of moths than mosquitoes, contrary to popular belief. We can live without.

Can ya just like kill all the bee like insects that dont make honey or pollinate flowers. (I think this only applies to yellow jackets/wasps/hornets/those japanese wasps that are huge af )

I wonder what the downside of getting rid of all parasites would be. I guess a handful of species (e.g. symbiotes that feed exclusively on parasites) would go extinct, but it feels that it would be overall worth it, especially for humans.

I mean, it's hard to find any species less necessary than humans. Our ecological utility is such a large negative number it skews the whole chart into unreadability. :D

Mosquitoes and the diseases they spread kill millions every year. Literally every 3 minutes a kid dies from maleria somewhere in the world and you want to kill a fundemental part of the ecosystem instead?
