With the permafrost quickly going away, what are the chances of a life threatening disease rising from its bowels?

What are the chances of diseases coming out of these perma frost locations and wreaking havoc on society?

I am not scared of this by any means but I am just interested in the science behind all of it.

COVID's no joke but even if the whole world had left this disease rampant it wouldn't have wiped us out. There's a lot of diseases out there much better equipped to do that (if we didn't do something about it).
