With the current pandemic, I think Xbox 1st party being cross gen just became an even better deal

Not everyone will be able to cash in 1 or 2 next gen boxes for that matter this holiday. But you can still play Halo infinite on your current XBO, and pc. You can stay safe, save your money if you are going through tough times, and still play the new games. An expanded BC is nice too.

Where supposedly with Sony you will have to have $560 (console + game) with no other option. (with xbox you wouldnt need $60 for a game neither, you can probably pay $1 for 3 months of gp).

In the end, Xbox's next-gen will be about choice. You will be able to play the games on streaming through xCloud, on your gaming PC, on Xbox One (S/X/phat) at first, or invest in Series X (/Lockhart, if it exists). You will be able to buy the games physical, digital, or get them through Game Pass.

Players are gonna have vast options to play the games they want to play, no longer locked in to use a very specific box to access the next Halo, Fable, Hellblade and so on. In these times, it's quite a positive indeed.

100% agree. Its pretty awesome.

They also have that all access where you can pay monthly to pay off the console, and have gp included. Options indeed, during these times, it is a very welcome changed

This is probably the best year for PS4 releases, so even if you won't buy a next gen at release (my case) you are well served.

I doubt PS5 will have a launch title bigger than TLOU 2.
