I think it's possible it's being considered, yes. But that would mean a pretty hefty loss on both models, so I suspect it'll be 399/499 and the physical box subsidizes the loss on the digital console.
Well for their sakes I hope so because otherwise they're going to be sweating heavy.
It's ludicrous to think the PS5 is going to be more expensive than the Series X. The XSX has the larger APU, it's the more expensive system to make.

They've said they're going to transition the PS4 userbase to PS5 faster than any previous generation, they're absolutely going to be selling the hardware at a loss.
The All Access plan is so great, people are used to that with cell phone pricing. Hopefully that is available everywhere. This is so exciting!
$500 feels just the right price for the system. May jsut buy a 3080 instead of the 3090 and put a pre order for the Series X.
