I'm afraid it might be too late. I keep thinking that some of Bravely Default jobs designs looked cool but then again I rmb that they had to adjust them for overseas. However, with a new character designer I have hope for Bravely Default II.

But frankly his honesty is just part of his brand now which is why SE allows it and he gets away with what he is saying here and shit like "I like girls."
Which goes to show what devs think of these gatcha games that feature these designs. None of which is surprising and no one that supports this stuff really cares anyway.

I would love a sequel to Bioshock 2 that had Eleanor as the protagonist. I want a Bioshock game starring a woman period. Oh well, at least we got immersive sims like Dishonored 2 and Prey (2017) that allow you play as women.

I never got around to playing Burial at Sea, even when I was young and dumb and really into infinite. Seems too late to go back now. The retcon makes things even worse?

The twins convinced Daisy to sacrifice herself to help Elizabeth. So, the whole Daisy threatening to kill a child was a part of the plan to toughen up Elizabeth.

Elizabeth saying Fitzroy is no different from the person who dehumanized and enslaved her was the worst moment in the game.

it ends up being Elizabeth that gives the secret code...aka would you kindly to Atlas while she then gets tortured and killed by him. So Elizabeth causes the entire downfall of Rapture and gets tortured for it.

At least the game relies on weapons over characters, so you can play as whoever and whichever look you want and never have to use any of the grossly over-sexualized stuff.
For all its problems, Tales Of Crestoria isn't as bad as most other Gatcha games regarding designs. Since it pulls most of them from the games, and most of the games don't really have anything ridiculously over the top (minus like...Velvet and maybe 2 other girls), it does swimsuits that aren't real crazy, and each swimsuit banner had 1 girl and 1 guy as potential pulls. The new banner has Kitty Cat Waitress Rita which I was kinda scared about but the art for it is completely tame but still really anime, but yet still not nearly as bad as other gatcha games that we don't speak of

Moon, the anti-RPG, is a relaxing strange game that is telling of where Toby fox got the idea of making Undertale.

I understand Moon's kind of a precursor to Chulip which is a game I absolutely love (though not for any reasons that could be especially positively called out in this thread). I'm putting Moon off for when I have less games going on than I do right now, but I'm very much looking forward to trying it.

Hopefully bioshock 4 can go back to just retcon the "always a man, always a lighthouse" thing so we get a woman protagonist.
I always interpreted the always a man to be referring to Comstock/Ryan, founding their crazy town with the lighthouse as an entrance.
I'm not saying that interpretation is even right, I just hadn't thought of it as referring to the protagonist before.

The only scene I remember with his wife is her talking with her and comstock's son at some point really early on in the game.

I was considering trying burial at sea as I heard it was not awful but yikes. Also the base game is just wack in so many ways, the tone is wack, the gameplay loop is wack, the plot is wack, dewitt is a fool, fuck those mechanical dead presidents, and I dropped the game before the plot went wack 2000: the sequel with "oh no the guns to overthrow the captialists are behind an unopenable door and plot holes, time to do the time warp to a reality where the both sides revolution happens"
