All I want to know about porn is - you know when you watch 'Lesbian Grannies Love Teens' or something similar - and when it gets to the anal licking, as it always should, the old grannies can't analingusley hang for toffee. Just kind of dab at it, to the side or on the cheek most likely, and I'm sitting here losing the rod and thinking 'Yo Director tell that old lady to fucking get in there'. When it's the young woman's turn, bless them, they go all in on that 75-year-old sphincter, like there is no tomorrow. It's a gross imbalance in performance and I'm disgusted I've been watching these movies for years and years. And years.
....huh.

I don't really know how to answer that.

Well, the framing can very well determine how it psychologically impacts its audience, but you raise a more important point, which is that the most directly harmful aspect of the entire industry is how performers are treated. Thanks for giving me that perspective.
Of course the framing affects the psychological impact on the audience. Hell, if we are talking about porn that is entirely fictional (illustrated or written erotica) then that's the entirety of the problematic nature of the work. That brings in a whole other argument, whether or not the ideas presented being being extreme/problematic without the exploitation of real human beings is worse than porn where the ideas presented are less extreme/problematic but involve the exploitation of real people. Or in cases where there is a confluence of the two factors (fictional content being used to encourage or facilitate the exploitation of real people, for example, or instances of real exploitation of people being adapted into fiction).

It's an extremely complicated subject, but I find the juvenile attitude and hypocritical stone-throwing that abounds in these topics on this forum to be really disturbing.

Yeah, I've been tossing and turning countless ideas and scenarios in my head about this for years now... I'm not any closer to a solution or an understanding. It's definitely complicated as hell.

No one has an answer, tbh. I've been thinking about it for a long time too, as a recovering sex/porn addict who was sexually abused online as a teen in spaces entirely created for fictional pornography (online ERP and furry communities).

It just pisses me off when I see threads like this with bare bones accusatory OPs. Like do you actually want to have a conversation about why fictional incest porn is popular and what affect that may have on people, or do you just want to throw stones and act holier than thou with a shallow take that amounts to little more than pointing and saying "ewww".

I see faaaaar too many people online and off calling their partner "daddy" or "mami" for me to think this is anything but widespread. There was a thread on here where people were defending it. Well when you normalize degenerate shit like incest, don't be surprised when it shows up in people's taste in porn.

So calling your partner "daddy" during sex now makes someone a degenerate? Common terms in the queer community = degeneracy now?

Those terms aren't exclusive at all the queer communities either. Latin America has been calling their loved ones "mami" and "papi" for...ever now?
Yup, thanks for bringing that up as well. Didn't mean to suggest that it was exclusive to queer communities, just that it's common queer vernacular and associating it with 'degeneracy' is bordering on homophobia (even if unintentional).

I have no idea but it's real fuckin annoying when I search for something completely different and it still pops up in the results somehow.

Nah, I got what you meant. I was just bringing it up to point out that it's a widespread term of endearment that has been used for a long time. It isn't some new, underground thing lol.

And comparing it to incest is incredibly silly.

As long as people aren't into child porn, I couldn't give less of a shit what people jerk it to.

Can't miss that golden opportunity to completely ignore cultural context and throw stones though!

I remember when someone made a thread a while back questioning why people react weirdly to some sex related topics here for such a "sex-positive forum". Had a good laugh at that one.

If you take the dude at his word. He broke both of his arms somehow, started getting pent up anger from not being able to jack off. Mom and dad talked to him and decided the mom would "help" him out. It eventually led to sex with the mom and turned into a meme on reddit.
Oh shit, I remembered this now from. my repressed memories. 😳

i watch most porn with the sound off because people overcompensating in their attempts to seem "dominant" is extremely unattractive and an instant turn off

i wouldn't be surprised if most people did

the best porn is when two consenting adults are just enjoying themselves and the thrill of performance

Isn't it because producers can just take a regular clip, rename it, and increase their audience by a significant percentage?

That being said, there's lot of questionable stuff you see in porn that would be a 100% no-go in real life

I said it normalizes degenerate shit like incest. I can't think of many things more degenerate than incest. I didn't say any kink is degenerate, but it certainly normalizes these concepts.
Based on what exactly? You do realize when people say "daddy" during sex they mean like a "daddy dom" or something similar, not literally pretending their partner is their actual father. Also wtf at "I'm not saying any kink is degenerate" and then immediately saying that the kink (calling your partner/being called 'daddy') is degenerate.

I think if it were actually normalized it would lose its appeal... If everyone banged their family it wouldn't be taboo! I figure most people just skip the dialogue and go for the, uh, action scenes.

But I never take the "normalization" argument at face value, since it's never accompanied by data, and generally structured in a way to be unfalsifiable.

I said it normalizes incest, the kink itself is not degenerate.

I'm sorry, do you know something about my family that I don't?

Why is it degenerate though? Just cus we find the idea revolting doesn't make it bad if it's between two consenting adults.

That's stupid. More moralizing armchair psychology horsecrap from ERA.

Daddy is the gay/female equivalent of MILF. He's not literally your daddy.

Also I find it interesting that no one ever accused the sugar daddy / sugar baby relations of ever "promoting incest" when it was straight people doing it. Curious.

No, your claim was that calling your partner 'daddy' normalizes incest, that normalizing incest is degenerate, thus it follows from those claims that you think calling your partner 'daddy' is degenerate. Even though that kink can be entirely unrelated to incest.
