You can use emoji on a desktop computer by just pressing Cmd+Ctrl+Space on Mac and apparently Win+. or Win+; on Windows.

Most people here make their posts like slapdash reactions anyway rather than thoughtful essays, so what's your excuse 🤔

It seems Era has some weird extra ability to type emoji with the colon key but it usually breaks for me for some reason
