The gaming community and the "porn sharing" community are two of the internet communities I've probably been the most active in (not necessarily THE top two but they're both up there), and I can honestly say that women generally have a larger presence in the latter than in the former.
Are we already forgetting that a lot of Tumblr's user base was women and LGBTQ people sharing porn with each other?
