When I was a kid, old people liked Tweety Bird and The Tasmanian Devil. They were everywhere on clothing, tattooed on people, flown on flags, etc. I feel like part of this is just the current equivalent, though not exactly the same since a lot of those characters had been around for decades already.
My boomer parents love the minions, especially my Dad which I always thought was weird. I don't get it

Unless tumblr lied to me, it's canon in this universe that the Minions exiled themselves to Antarctica for most of the 20th century for this exact reason.

I hate to be the person that says this is fake. But this story being true and not being an elaborate ploy that the writer came up with to get more views on their minions porn video is highly unlikely.
I had actually forgotten about this game (like in a "was it a fever dream" way I guess) and seeing this killed me considering the context of this thread and everything. I am dyingStand With Gooper.
