So, obviously starting in March, PS+ dropped their PS3 and Vita offerings. I assumed that meant we were getting, at minimum, 4 PS4 games, but, nope. Just The Witness and MW Remastered. A whopping 2 games. Good games, sure, but, the number dropped, regardless. Maybe I missed the communication that we would only receive 2, but, even if I saw one, I still would have been shocked.
This was madness to me, but, I saw a lot of people saying "hey that's a pretty good month, so, I'll take it." And, like, I understand if you didn't play the PS3 / Vita options that you wouldn't necessarily miss having those, but, how was it not expected that they would still make up for those in some fashion? Some said "well, this means they'll put more effort and money into getting better games each month" but...
Now we find out that, for April, we're getting The Surge (MC of 74) and Conan Exiles (MC of 68) as offerings, so, I'm not really buying that excuse. I'm sure these games are fine, but, you cannot tell me that we shouldn't have expected better if that was the real reason for dropping the number of games.
Why is this acceptable? How is there not a reaction on the level of cross-play or PSN name-change going on here? I know those are different subjects, but, this is something we are actually currently paying for and seeing a significant drop in value, and, yet, barely a peep from the community.
NOTE: this isn't about missing the PS3/Vita games. This is about making up for them considering the cost is the same and seems to only go up.
Edit: Adding this as it's a good visual representation.

Except you weren't getting 'just 2 PS4 games a month' at all, you were getting between 3 and 6 PS4 games. Now you're only getting 2.
