I don't think I've done anything like that recently - although I guess it would be weird to seek out the opportunity too. But after seeing how GAF handled Gamergate, I felt that the nefarious actors were great at packaging their narratives in digestible, easily distributed forms whereas we often fell back on "this has gotten tiring".
It's not just important for people who aren't familiar with an issue; it's also a tidy way of exposing people who claim ignorance to order present themselves as harmless. You can only pretend to be ignorant until knowledge is presented to you. If someone responds to that with "but what about", it has already become clear that they aren't actually a blank slate and that they're trying to cause confusion.
That person with the transgender pride flag and the origami crane because they always have something insightful to say about politics

We've discussed these public displays of affection before. It makes me uncomfortable, you know that.
Yeah, I've always hated this double standard. Mods and admin need to be held to the standards just like everyone else.
There are a few people that I like or that I read your posts when I see them (in no order): Taysan, JonBones, Disco, Admiral Woofington, Speevy, HStallion, NinjaScooter, Sanjuro, Ryesing, Blamespace - there are others.
Most of you are a blur of bullshit. The above people have proven thoughts or consistency and even with some disagreements I've found a baseline with. For that, I always listen and that matters to me on the internet.

elenarie, I really enjoy having the genuine dev insight, positivity, and hype, despite how toxic posters can be in some threads (especially in EA threads).
On the mods side:
Morrigan, always happy to see her pop up in a thread.
Slayven, I think I've learned way more obscure comic book facts than I need in my life by accidently stepping into any thread thanks to him.
Fat4all (because he can't have enough notifications), since the SBFP community thread way back in the day.
