Yup! She easily became my favorite character in the last of us verse
I am gonna echo Maruki from the OP. What a great character.
I really love how he brings nuance to P5. His use of the metaverse is more nuanced than other villians, his motivations are more nuanced, his backstory is too. Its a far cry from the rest of the game tbh.
Dontnod's greatest strength is their character work, so no surprise I've picked Tyler

Something about Phin(?) was eerie, in some scenes she was so real looking. Haven't had that to that extent in a game before...Miles Morales did a lot of great character work.
Purple hair girl was very obnoxious. Which is weird cause I do like Burch, but she was very grating in this.
I'd say neither counts. Jessie was absolutely in the original. Guess you could say she got a new characterization, but that's not what the thread is about.

Her VA (Sandra Saad) really knocked it out of the park and did such a good job capturing Ms. Marvel's youthful exuberance and wide-eyed wonder at getting to meet her heroes. Super endearing character and makes me excited to see what Sandra Saad does next
I love the casts of FFVIIR, TLOU Part II, GoT, and MM too though, so it's really hard to pick just one haha

Definitely Maruki for P5 Royal, as well as Adachi, Saeko and Masato Arakawa from Y7. Masato isn't my favorite villain compared to the likes Goda Ryuji or Mine from Yakuza 3 but he was definitely a pretty interesting enough antagonist.
EDIT: Oh yes, musn't forget Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliviera as they are written in the RE3 Remake.

Jean/Beidou from Genshin Impact are close to my love of Abby as well.
