Yup, greasy low quality pepperoni is the worst addition.
Pineapple and Shrimp are good additions, IMO.
Mushrooms are disgusting. Onions are amazing paired with pepperoni or sausage and extra cheese.

It's not my fault that my family threw ungodly heaps of onions into everything from soup to omelettes, thereby ruining onions forever.

For me it's olives. Not really a fan of them in general. And just about any sauce that isn't tomato sauce; still dread having tried the pretzel cheese pizza.

It's pineapple. Pineapple on pizza is a disaster. The juice seeps into the entire pizza and ruins the flavor of every other ingredient.
don't get me wrong-I love pineapple. But not on pizza. If you gave me a pizza with a separate bowl of pineapple I would be delighted.

Why is everyone terrible?
Mixes well with some pizza. My current favorite is
El Diablo fuego:
Ortega green chiles, chorizo, Canadian Style Bacon, pepperoni, fresh onion, fresh tomato, black olives and Jalapeno
Really don't like black olives. On pizza, in a salad, or by themselves. They just stick out too much in the flavor profile.
I find fresh tomatoes really cut through all the meat, I find it really refreshing.

Olives are the worst. I don't care for mushrooms either, but they can be picked off without the taste permeating the rest of the pizza.

Anything seafood for my palate. The odor alone will kill my appetite.

I'm an old fashioned fuck pineapples kind of guy. Never had anchovies on pizza, it isn't a thing here.

Onions aren't inherently bad at all, I actually enjoy them. But in comparison with other toppings there's no other choice.
