Recently went down a Youtube nostalgia-tearjerker rabbit hole and I'm wondering if there's a public consensus on this very important topic.
Then you need to pay more attention you unfeeling monster!I barely remember anything about Coco or Inside Out. My vote goes to the ending of Monster's Inc. It's one of the best endings to an animated movie that I've seen.
Maybe actually pay attention to them next time then? Because they're two of the greatest animated films ever made.I barely remember anything about Coco or Inside Out. My vote goes to the ending of Monster's Inc. It's one of the best endings to an animated movie that I've seen.
Yeah, Ellie & Carl is very effective as a short film, but Remember Me was built up for an hour and a half so when it hits it is like the floodgates of my eyes have been opened. It's Coco because Remember Me is the culmination of the entire theme of the film. Just a brilliantly done, all-time great scene.
Ellie & Carl is great too,but unfortunately the rest of Up kind of sucks.
Actually, I can have an argument for a Ego moment, but it's not that moment that I would've chosen.Low key, I think Ego's review in Ratatouille might be my favorite emotional moment, though, but that might be bias because Ratatouille is my favorite Pixar movie.
I can agree with that. in fact, I think the whole scene from the eating of the Ratatouille to the review is just one long scene.Actually, I can have an argument for a Ego moment, but it's not that moment that I would've chosen.
I thought the moment he ate the Ratatouille and then the immediate sequence after was actually more endearing if anything, since that was the climax of what we were really waiting for, and of course we knew it was going to end well, but seeing exactly what was going on in his mind that specifically changed his mind all of a sudden was a, oh shit that's deep, kind of moment for me.
