That would be Day of Defeat from the betas all the way to Source. I played it competitively and I played it atleast a couple of hours a day for 4 years.

World of Warcraft, easily.
I have close to 2 years of my life sunk into that game.

On consoles, maybe skyrim? Or cod4 multiplaye. On pc does runescape or maplestory count? I feel like mmorpgs are kinda cheating

WoW, around 10k hours, started at the end of Cataclysm and stopped at Legion. PvP became so bad, and all I did in the game was playing arenas.

CS 1.6 / source, thousands of hours aswell. Maybe even more than WoW.

Around 7,000 hours in Dota 2.

Probably in the thousands as well for Diablo II, Warcraft III and Tibia.

Championship Manager 01/02. I've had it installed on various different PCs for almost 2 decades, due to the incredible fan community around it combined with the ridiculous over the top direction the main series went in.

It's tough for me to be sure, since a played games like Fallout: New Vegas and Skyrim on my PS3 a lot. To my knowledge, it doesn't keep a running total of your time played like Steam does. The highest confirmed I have is Stellaris, sitting over 400 hours.

Unless I were to quit my job and no life an mmo again for years on end, nothing will ever come close to WoW. I started maybe 6 months before Wrath and played religiously until halfway through Cata and then off and on after that. The last time I remember was over a year between all my characters around the start of Pandaria, I never checked it again after that.

Killzone 2. Around 800 hours. Nothing else even comes close. Doubt I've put more than 100 hours in any other game. KZ2's MP was magnificent perfection; there will never be another like it.

Overall, likely Elder Scrolls: Morrowind, where I probably have 500-1000 hours, maybe even more. Could also be Street Fighter 2 HDR, I likely surpassed 1000 hours there as well.

In terms of recent games where I actually know how much time I spent, these are the few that come to mind:

Nioh 2 - 120 hrs, Nioh 1 - 288 hrs, Street Fighter X Tekken - 120 hrs, Ultra Street Fighter 4 - 140 hrs, Witcher 3 - 70 hrs, Injustice 2 - 130 hrs

Countless hours into Ragnarok Online, since 2004.

I've been trying to play less in recent years, however. I've got adulting to do.
Wouldn't be able to tell you the hours played, though.

Considering for many years the only game I played was CS (from beta to Source), it's that by a long shot. On console, Dark Souls (through many different builds and challenge runs).

Probably Oblivion for me. Had to stop looking at the counter, because I always ended up losing a few seconds on each load, doing some mental math to figure out how many days I'd spent in Cyrodiil.

Probably ESO at maybe 250 hours if I had to give it a number over the years. After that I'd probably guess Skyrim or something I've replayed a few times like FF7 or Witcher 3. I think the last time I checked playtimes on Witcher its around 100 hours between PC and Switch.

Some of y'all at thousands of hours are impressive. I cant stick to a game for very long before trying something else. I'm juggling like 7 backlog games at any given time.

My Ring Fit Adventure time finally surpassed my Skyrim/Oblivion hour count at 175+ hours, so probably that.

Skyrim - I didn't beat it till last year, and I've owned and played it since launch across 3 different pieces of hardware.

Command & Conquer (all versions) - I have played them multiple times through.

Goldeneye - Hundreds and hundreds (thousands?) of hours with friends as a teen.

Super Mario Series (From NES through Mario 64) - Thousands of hours

Zelda Series (SNES through OoT) - Played through OoT 4 or 5 times

Forza Motorsport/Horizon Series - Thousands of hours again, I've owned every single release.

Halo Series - Thousands of hours (especially the OG with friends in multiplayer)

I'm not sure which of those wins. I honestly wouldn't be able to guess. Probably between C&C, GE, SM, & Zelda. If I have to pick a single game from those I'd say it's a toss up between Goldeneye and OoT. With maybe Goldeneye winning.

I think I had something like 450-500 days played (11,000-12,000 hours) in World of Warcraft. That game was such a time sink in a time where I had insane free time to do that.

Nothing will ever come close to those numbers for me again.

My friends and I put over 1500 hours into GTA Online. Funnily enough we never bought shark cards.

/playtime in FFXIV is at 143 days, or ~3,500 hours.

It's impossible to say how much of that is actually playing and how much is idle.

If it includes multiple iterations of annual sports franchises, it's got to be FIFA without a shadow of a doubt. Despite switching to PES for a good three years.

Well, the only two games I have ever put more than 100 hours into are WOW and Smash Bros. My /played was pretty hefty in the former, but I haven't played since Cataclysm, so I don't remember the final number. Sometimes I am tempted to subscribe just to retrieve the number...
