Yet another important FF question.

I do really like the XII moogles, they really stand out and have a lot of individual character. Xs moogles doll is gorgeous and I should definitely buy one.

But I have to say...I think VII Remake has the best one.

IX, XII, and the other Ivalice moogles by far. I also quite like the XIV ones.

XIII moogles are terrible.

It's absolutely IX. Each one being unique with their own names and backstory were great.

XII's and Tactics Moogles are the worst. I don't even remember seeing them in XII and they look awful.

The ones from XIV are great too. Some of them are extra large which means extra huggability. The mail moogle is so adorable I almost bought a plush of it when I was at the Square Enix store in Tokyo.

I really don't care too much for Ivalice, but the rabbit Moogles have a lot of personality and I like to see iconic designs get creative reimaginings, so I have a soft spot for them.

Kingdom Hearts/Type-0/XIII-2 style Moogles are god awful.

I think they'd be a lot better if (and I'm just going on XIII-2's horrendous approach):

• They spoke with normal voices - the put on child / high-pitch is incredibly grating
• 'Kupo' shouldn't be pronounced in full like some sort of custom / greeting - it should just be the Moogle sound effect from all the previous games (it's onomatopoeic dammit!)

FF9's design is what immediately comes to mind when I think of "Moogle," but I think I like Tactics Advance the most. That design is just super cute to me and it takes me right back to the Christmas I got the game and saw it on the back of the box.
