Lovecraft or Hit Points. Would depend on the lettering/font/where it is. Thread itself made me think of Lovecraft.

Probably would have thought Hit Points first if it was posted on the Gaming side.

Printers and hit points, almost simultaneously. I should probably give the edge to hit points though, since I didn't remember the name "Hewlett Packard" even though I thought of printers.

Hit Points and the Spanish «Hijo de puta» (Translated as "Motherfucker" or lit. "Son of a bitch"), depending on the context.

On this side, Harry Potter. If I saw this thread title on gaming I might've gone to Hit Points.

Even tho the "Hewlett Packard Company" doesn't exist anymore it is still the correct answer.
I guess it's a case like IBM or LG where people simply forget the full names for those shortened terms.

For me it's Lovecraft and am kind of disappointed that wasn't a poll option, and this is era so I am not the only one who thought Howard Phillips.

Going by how often I've used the abbreviation?

1. Hewlett Packard
2. Hit points / health points
3. HP Lovecraft
4. Harry Potter

Harry Potter is just Harry Potter in my head.
