I dressed up Sackboy for my first trophy (Fashion Sense in LittleBigPlanet) - I'm betting a lot of people might share that feat

Funny enough I have that game but no trophies. :/
It was some achievement in Forza 2, some dumb easy one, dont remember what it was. I had gotten 360 with Forza/marvel ultimate alliance bundle along with Gears of War.

But no, I'm not completely sure, but I think it's the achievement that sold me on the very idea of the achievements system in the first place; waaay back at the start of the 360, I always liked the idea of an achievement based around fundamental changes to your playstyle, and there was one iconic achievement that cropped up in the very earliest wave of titles that stood out. I didn't actually get my 360 until some time later, but that achievement always stuck with me and I was always going to pursue it once I could:
(I should mention that I also have some Bioshock achievements tied to that first day of play, and PGR3 Rank 10, but I *think* it's Geometry Wars I made the initial beeline to)

I had a PSN account before the one I have now, where I did't really care for trophies. My account I've used since has the first trophy being:
"I Live" from Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 (lol), I achieved the trophy September 2012 and have since achieved a total of 127 Platinums

They were patched in after release...
Like with this game, where the trophies just copied the in game challenges that were already in place.
I was late to that gen in terms of consoles so it'll be something earned when Steam first added them but early Steam achievements don't have a date attached so it's hard to know for sure. I belive the feature was added with The Orange Box, so it'll likely be sometime in October 2007ish with whatever the first thing you can earn in HL2-Episode 2 is.

I'm pretty sure my first Xbox achievement had something to do with Dynasty Warriors 6.

I'm not sure which one, but I'm positive it was in Hexic HD since that came with my Xbox 360 and the only other game I had at launch was Perfect Dark Zero, which I never earned any achievements in somehow...
That was the wild west of achievements though, before devs knew what they were doing...
(And also when they gave out scores not ending in 5 or 0... Thanks Ultimate MK III for fucking up my gamerscore 13 years ago through this day)

Mine as well. Gears was the first game i ever played on the 360.

My first achievement was from that puzzle game that came with the 360. My first trophy was from Uncharted 1 on PS3.

Trophy: Batman Arkham Asylum Freeflow Combat 5 (do a 5 hit combo). It was my first PS3 game!

Some 360 launch Title achievement. Probably from King Kong or Quake I can't remember what I played first.
