Of the ones that are 100% confirmed, Ratchet & Clank. I've been a huge fan since the PS2 days and this one looks great.

The only one which could surpass it would be Hollow Knight Silksong if it ends released.

As far as games that have a release date go, most anticipated for me is probably Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart. Always been a huge fan of the series so I'm stoked for a true sequel that takes advantage of the new hardware.

Now, if Horizon Forbidden West makes it out in 2021 then that'd be my #1.

For SMTV in particular, simultaneous worldwide release in 2021 was promised. That's absolutely unheard of for Atlus.

BotW 2 if that counts.
That was never promised for this year and I really doubt it's coming out this year. Even in the Direct they said we would "get more info this year". That doesn't mean a game release.

I'll list some I'm excited for that I haven't seen many mentions of:

Mundaun
Humankind
Little Devil Inside
Solar Ash
CrisTales

And the ones I see a lot of, equally excited for:
NieR Replicant
RE Village
Deathloop
Ghostwire: Tokyo

New Game Plus Expo was a bit of a disappointment for me so I'm still hoping for Crossbell and Hajimari to make it over.
Otherwise, SaGa Frontier Remastered.
There's Tales of Arise and SMT5 too but doubt those are coming out this year.

Oh and Crash next week. Technically new for me. And Disco Elysium-PS5.
Maybe RE8, not sure yet.

Of the games that have concrete release dates, it would have to be Nier Replicant. I never did play the original game, so I've been waiting for this for a long time. One more month, baby! I'm pumped just thinking about it. I'm going in as soon as my copy gets to me.

No More Heros 3, RE8, Rift Apart, Deathloop, Horizon FW, and Ghostwire Tokyo.

I'd say God of War 5 as well, but that aint comin this year.

Obviously incredibly excited for stuff that hasn't been dated yet like Silksong, BotW 2, and Elden Ring... Let's hope they make it this year.

If anything this thread proves that there was interest in a "most anticipated games" thread.
I'll post my full list once again later.

Probably Nier Replicant atm. I'm looking forward to seeing a lot of PS5 games but I dont plan on buying one just yet, and nothing really exciting has been announced/confirmed for Switch other than BDII (which I am loving).

Edit: ugh how could I forget NEO TWEWY, I am really hyped for it as well.

Silksong. BotW 2 might have a shot, but I guess it'll come out this year with only ~30% certainty.

If neither Silksong nor BotW 2 come out I'll be incredibly disappointed lol.

Monster Hunter Rise! Hyped for Ratchet & Clank too, + Horizon 2 and Shin Megami Tensei V but the latter two could easily slip into 2022 considering we haven't heard anything on them in a long, long time. We'll see.

Deathloop. It is the single reason I bought a PS5.

Everything else was extras, but I NEED Deathloop. NEED. I'm frothing at the mouth to play it.

And it releases on my birthday, so HUZZAH!

Of announced games, Fantasian. Also-rans that came close include Halo Infinite, Biomutant, and a hypothetical 2021 Yakuza game.

Of confirmed games? Probably Mass Effect collection followed by Outriders and Halo Infinite.

Of things without a date I think will make it out? Horizon Forbidden West.

I like this thread because it's reminding me of all the cool stuff coming this year:

Ratchet & Clank
Kena
Returnal
Deathloop
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Hollow Knight Silksong
Solar Ash
Psychonauts 2

And those are just the big ones, I'm sure there's loads of indies I've forgotten about that release this year.

Halo Infinite, Horizon 2, and Age of Empires 4 - IF they all make 2021.

I continue to have a good feeling about Halo Infinite, and think people sleep on that game at their own peril. I detect a quiet confidence from the studio in what they are making, and everything they've described about the game sounds like my ideal Halo title.
