John Elway, on a framed picture. Got to shake his hand too. But I didn't care about football so it didn't mean much to me. My favorite autographed item is a hockey stick signed by the entire 1996 Avalanche roster...Forsberg, Sakic, Roy...my favorite hockey lineup of all time.

edit: oh, maybe it's Neil Gaiman. I have a couple of things he signed for me.

Nothing too wild. My fightstick is signed and drawn on by Daisuke Ishiwatari (Guilty Gear) and I have some signed comics/art from creators I like such as Mike Mignola, Amanda Conner, Annie Wu, Steve Lieber, etc.

I never met any famous people, but I have two autographed copies of After Hours' deluxe edition by The Weeknd. I also had an autographed copy of The Documentary by The Game but I don't know where I left it...

That would be cool if you could get both to sign it.

I think I only have one and it's from Stan Sakai on a Usagi Yojimbo collection. He drew a quick usagi sketch with it.

I have Robert Jordan, Summer Glau, and the members of My Chemical Romance. Nothing too famous.

I once checked out a book from the library though was signed by Orson Scott Card to someone personally. I really really really debated accidentally losing it and just paying the fee but in the end I'm too good a person and told them what they had.

I have a handful of books signed by Clive Barker, with some personalized drawings in them.

Probably my Dragon Boxes signed by Sean Schemmel and Chris Sabat. The circumstances in which I met them were much more exciting, though - at the LA red carpet premiere of Resurrection F, where I also met Masako Nozawa and Tadayoshi Yamamuro.

I got Time I signed by the entire Wintersun band. Got that baby in a frame!

I got a signed Nonpoint album too, though it's The Return which isn't the strongest record from them. Still cool though.

I started doing meet-and-greets at a few recent cons in the Before Times. I have a few with some stories I like.

I got an auto with Adam Savage and inadvertently made him laugh, and the women helping with the photos remarked that it sounded like a real laugh.

I met Phil Lamarr who, upon hearing my voice and asking if I've ever done any voice work, gave me advice he got from working with Mako.

I also got an autograph from Lucie Pohl, the VA for Mercy from Overwatch, and got her to take a photo with me where's she checking my pulse while I'm passed out at the table. I ended up checking out her one-woman show at this tiny theater afterwards. It was autobiographical, and when she got to a bit about negotiating rent with her Asian landlord, I swear she was staring right at me when she was telling it (I'm Asian).

Got Peter Jackson, Fran Walsh, and Howard Shore's autographs at a talk they gave in NYC after FotR came out. If you're a fan, it was the event where they revealed that Shelob wouldn't be in The Two Towers, to a large number of gasps in the crowd!

I've got an autographed baseball from one of the Royals. The problem is I can't read it, so I have no idea which one it is. There's a chance it could be the most famous person I've got, or it might be a nobody on the team.

So I'm going to ignore that one and say Tara Strong. Everyone knows her.

Stan Lee or Mark Hamill probably.

One of my favorites though was John DiMaggio. He's an extremely funny dude.

Also Kevin Conroy. Incredibly gracious and you can tell he cares about his fans.

Baseball signed by Mickey Mantle from my grandfather. But I'm a bit skeptical and need to get it authenticated lol.

Probably my Bruce Campbell autograph from when he came to my local college 15+ years ago and did a set. Guy was funny as hell, but I clammed up when I met him and had no idea what to say. Sat there awkwardly for about 20 seconds and hardly said anything while he signed a picture. Then my friend went after me, asked him about Bubbo-Hotep, and the two yapped for a fucking eternity while I watched from a distance.

Besides things like signed Kickstarter stuff, my wife and I collect 1st edition hard back books.

We have some signed by Clive Barker, Stephen King, Peter Benchley, Douglas Adams, etc. She has a limited edition Heart of Darkness she picked up from Powell's special room, but I can't remember if that was signed by the illustrator or not.

Serena Williams, I guess. She wasn't signing autographs usually, and then she came to Wimbledon and signed like 3 programs, including my own. She signed both full pages with a massive autograph though, like an absolute diva.

My copy of Radiohead's "OK Computer" was signed by all five members of the band. Met them at the airport when they toured Australia in 1998.

I was lucky to get Jonny's signature - he went outside to have a smoke while the other members talked to fans, and after he signed my album, he got on the tour bus and didn't come out again. Didn't speak a word. Must've been super over the attention by that point (this was right around the time 'Meeting People is Easy' was being filmed, and we can all see how happy they are in that doco).

I saw Tom Cruise at a grocery store yesterday. I told him how cool it was to meet him in person, but I didn't want to be a douche and bother him and ask him for photos or anything.

He said, "Oh, like you're doing now?"

I was taken aback, and all I could say was "Huh?" but he kept cutting me off and going "huh? huh? huh?" and closing his hand shut in front of my face. I walked away and continued with my shopping, and I heard him chuckle as I walked off. When I came to pay for my stuff up front I saw him trying to walk out the doors with like fifteen Milky Ways in his hands without paying.

The girl at the counter was very nice about it and professional, and was like "Sir, you need to pay for those first." At first he kept pretending to be tired and not hear her, but eventually turned back around and brought them to the counter.

When she took one of the bars and started scanning it multiple times, he stopped her and told her to scan them each individually "to prevent any electrical infetterence," and then turned around and winked at me. I don't even think that's a word. After she scanned each bar and put them in a bag and started to say the price, he kept interrupting her by yawning really loudly.

I was this close to buying a copy of MGS1 signed by Koijima, Shinkawa and a couple of others.
They were selling it for around 1000USD, but holy hell what a centerpiece to a collection lol

I went to a Star Wars convention in the 90s and got Ralph McQuarrie's autograph on a print of his - it is personalized and framed. I also got Peter Mayhew and David Prowse to autograph their action figures. I went with my Dad so it is a great memory.

Came in expecting this, lmao. A classic.

On topic: Hugh Jackman signed a portrait i made of him. This was in Sydney, while he was promoting The greatest showman (Saw Zendaya and Efron too)

It was quite funny btw, i asked him for a picture but i had like a brain lapsus because for the love of god i was not able to change the damn camera to the front one (to take the selfie). I struggled a lot while they were all saying (including Hugh) "man, switch the camera". I was finally able to take some pictures and Hugh looked at me and told me "don't ever try to be a paparazzi mate". And we all laughed. It was a wholesome moment.

George Romero signed by box-set of 'Dawn of the Dead'. Was quite close to when he died as he looked frail as all fuck. Was a mixed emotional ride that day. Also a ton of Chelsea FC footballers from the 90s, from when you could go to their training ground. Also managed to get David Prowse's when I was at primary school - didn't even know who he was at the time.

The most unique one I have, is from Ray Kennedy. He might not be well known to US folk, but he was a legendary Liverpool/Arsenal footballer. He was signing autographs at a holiday camp, and we noticed he was signing everybody's photo differently - mine resembled a squiggle. Just after this he was diagnosed with Parkinson's and we assume this was a product of that. Very sad.

I have a signed photo of Daniel Bryan.

I don't really understand the point of signatures in this day and age. Would much rather have a photo haha

Have a copy of the novelization to "Attack of the Clones" personally autographed by George Lucas.

A couple pieces of merch autographed by members of Coheed and Cambria

Some baseballs autographed by players such as Cal Ripken Jr, Andy Van Slyke, and a few others autographed by various Rays players from Spring Training back in 2012.

Rian Johnson on my Art of The Last Jedi book. Got it after a Knives Out screening. He did it quick and dirty though as he was being escorted out of the theater by film festival people when I asked.

Funny thing. When I got outside he was just standing on the street in front of the cinema. So I got to talk to him and take a picture with him. Should've asked him then and there, and I would've gotten a nicer one, lol.
