I recently splurged for a Waterfield Bolt Backpack...

My-Bolt-Backpack-in-Ballistic-Grizzly-640x427.jpg

...and I've been getting into reading about and watching videos on cool tech or other things to bring with me on a daily basis.

I'm curious if anyone here has anything they bring with them that you think is either essential from a premium quality perspective (compared to other similar items on the market, like lets say a power bank with unique or great features), or unique items you didn't think you'd use but now you can't live without -- or just anything you want to mention in general. Even things like unique toiletry accessories or anything!

So far I've got my airpod pros with a dbrand case, my sunglasses, power bank, multi-pronged charging cable, kindle paperwhite, etc.

So, what's in YOUR daily or travel bag?

I'm rocking one of the Akumu Ink RPET backpacks, which is my fav bag ever. The front is customizable which rules

21BP05_1800x1800.jpg

I carry my iPad, Switch, and portable charger in my bag at all times. My portable charger is the Anker PowerCore Fusion III, which is a hybrid. Can be plugged in (and charged!) from a wall, and just normally charge like a normal portable charger.

I've worked remotely for a while so I don't commute, but back when I did, I had a messenger bag with the following:
  • Multitool
  • Notepad
  • A couple pens/pencils
  • Spare inexpensive headphones
  • Spare phone charger
  • Work laptop
Every now and then, I would also add my 3DS as well (this was before the Switch).
There was also a time that I was training for a really hard hike and for about 3 months, I would put about 15 pounds of padded weights in my bag.

Lol, I just got back from like four back-to-back work trips and am literally cleaning out my primary bag as I browse Reset. Easiest picture I've ever taken.

JW Hulme Full Grain Leather Bag
Surface Laptop Studio + Pen (work machine)
12.9" M1 iPad Pro + Pencil (personal machine)
Switch OLED (fun machine)
Notepad, fountain pen of the day, and AirPods Pro
Keys, chargers, sunglasses, cables, etc.

I keep my iPhone and wallet on my person.

I also ALWAYS carry a camera - typically my Leica MP and an extra roll of film - but I have a separate little bag for it that I keep stashed in my car.

RiutBag R15.4 - I've had the first model (R15.1) since the creators first Kickstarter a couple of years ago and it's served me well. Decided to finally back her most recent Kickstarter because she isn't going to make another backpack and this one was a big upgrade for me.

This is what I have at the moment but I do need to remove the legacy stuff (USB-A, EarPods, etc) soon.

-AirPods Pro
-AirTag
-96W Magsafe USB-C Adapter
-USB-C to MagSafe 3 cable (2m braided)

-2x Lighting to USB-A Cable (1m)
-Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Cable (0.3m)
-Compact Medkit
-N95 Masks

Mostly stuff for biking although always have my rucksack on:
- Puncture repair kit
- 1x 29" spare inner tube (I should get a second really, never had a puncture on a long range ride though)
- Old knife (Lost my tyre leavers, does the job)
- Battery bank
- D-Locks

Mainly use my bag outside of travelling for shopping and cycling.

I don't have a daily bag most days, but when I'm traveling this is what I use for one-bag travel:

It fits 3 or 4 changes of clothes, toiletries, battery packs, my A7RII, headphones, and just about anything else I need for a week of being away.

I don't know but I bought an acronym 3a-3ts a while ago. It's actually extremely unused though since I started working from home, as my 'baggage needs' are either 'my pockets are enough' or 'im going grocery shopping and will just bring a nylon tote bag'

I love it. I've had it for ~5 years now, have never had an issue with it. Super durable, comfy, and lots of space/pockets for its size.
$98 well spent lol

It's loss a some of its color over the years, the deep green is now a little faded; definitely not mad about that. Love the look it has taken on.

So I have a small square shoulder bag - it's I think currently a tablet travel bag? But I really am due buying a properly nice, better one but no idea where to start. I think shoulder/cross body is best for me, as I like it for access to my phone and I'd get paranoid on a rucksack.

And it means I don't have to stick anything in my pockets. Except phone again as another option.

But the stuff in it:
  • Keys
  • Wallet
  • ID (Passport, for some reason. In case of you know, impromptu international travel)
  • Backup Phone Battery (it's a chunky one, from when Pokemon Go came out and hello battery melting) - it's not this one, but similar model
  • A rolled up Animal Crossing Dodo Airlines bag in case of shopping
  • A pack of gaviscon double action, always
  • Tissues
  • Headphones (Pixel Buds)
  • Lip Balm
  • Facemask these days

I've usually got an Anker powerbank that charges my phone and whatever gadgets I'm carrying that day, usually just an MP3 player. Plus a book, headphones, a pen/pencil. A small notebook. A spare facemask.
