COD is the sort of game that can be revealed in June and have no issue launching in Oct - Nov.
I could imagine they're holding it back to have a bigger blowout all-around or maybe to help boost E3.

Usually during the conference finals which just started. Also heard rumors there was a closed preview event last week? I think? We will hear something soon
Usually by now we should be hearing something...really strange. CoD isn't as big as it used to be?
Activision doesn't have a booth at E3 so it doesn't seem like it will be there.
Edit: Never mind, no booth but IW will be there.

Never thought they had a big issue with CoD hype.
I guess not having Destiny anymore makes sense.
Modern Warfare 2 was so good back in the day - just do that again with a a re-skin for 2019. Stopped playing these games after MW3 multiplayer ended up being atrocious.

Awesome to hear! Infinite Warfare had a really solid campaign that was criminally underrated. Looking foward to this game now
Yep that's my thought.
I think when they announce a new COD, a portion of the community seeks the most similar game. So when BO4 was announced, people went back to BO3 (and stopped playing WWII).
I think when MW4 is announced we'll see a huge interest spike in Modern Warfare Remastered and the other MW games.

It was totally broken. It could still be fun if they patch commando pro, noob tubing, ridiculous shotguns, and much more though.
Yet still the most enjoyable and hyped entry in the series. I miss the old days.
True, the old CoDs were the best. MW2 is my favourite after BO1.
We have heard things. This forum doesn't care much for cod until it's code begging time, so you won't see much discussion. The biggest being there was an NDA event yesterday.
The football players who were invited to play the game at a preview event were playing it on PS4's.
There was never a known length, it's always been speculation.

if everything is broken, is anything. Good shotguns are the key to any shooter. It's the foundation of everything else. Even map design.
I've noticed this too. Honestly I suspect that something will come in the next week or two.
So it's looking like a soft reveal right before e3. Surprised they're holding off so long. Guess CoD is moving back to November.
