PS1: Resident Evil. It was the game I got the console for.
PS2: Street Fighter EX3. It was the only thing I was remotely interested in when it launched. Sold it shortly afterwards, lol
PS3: Metal Gear Solid 4. I'd held off on buying a PS3 until something came along that I really wanted to play, and this was it. It was meh.
PS4: Knack. Came with the console in Japan.
PS5 will be Demon's Souls I'm sure.

PS1 - Third year of elementary school, Christmas: Playstation with World Cup 98, from other relatives I received Mickey Mania and Resident Evil. I was overjoyed.
PS2 - Second year of middle school: I got Red Card Soccer (a friend of mine had it and I don't know why I just HAD TO BUY IT). Other games in the beginning: Star Wars Racer Revenge, Eve of Exinction, Worms Blast, Zone of the Enders (and I got HOOKED).
PSP - First year of High School, with Wipeout Pure and shortly after Bleach Heat The Soul. I LOVED this system.
PS3 - Launch Day, third year of high school: Ridge Racer and Genji were my launch games, with Gundam Target in Sight coming in may.

PS1: Birthday gift. It's all a blur now. It was either Destruction Derby, Resident Evil, or some NBA Live game ('98?)
PS2: Christmas '06 gift. Came with Madden 06, NCAA 06, Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines & Metal Gear Solid 2. Of course I played MGS2 first and beat it in one sitting lmao

PlayStation consoles for me, were Gran Turismo machines. I got a PSX after borrowing someone's copy of GT just to play GT.
My PS2 I got a couple of months before the release of GT3 A-SPEC and I played the hell out of that.
PS3 and 4 were the end of that since GT games take decades to release. My PS3 was the 80GB Metal Gear Solid 4 bundle so MGS4 and my PS4, I can't even remember. Maybe Tomb Raider.

PSX - WCW Thunder... my brother and the guy at the games store tried talking me out of it but I was at the time a huge huge wrestling fan and WCW was at its peak popularity. Had to have it. As a 9 year old kid I enjoyed it
