What Was the Best Part of Sonic Adventure 2?

I love the hero/dark gardens, it seems like such a playground rumor. "Oh if you raise your Chao with a good character, then you'll go to CHAO HEAVEN, but if you raise them with a bad character you go to CHAO HELL."

Same with Green Hill, which was literally an Internet urban legend at first until more people started finishing the game with all 180 emblems and confirming it.

Sonic/Shadow levels are obviously the best of the three action stage types but overall I gotta give it to the Chao Garden. I'm hopeful that their playable appearance in TSR and the Chao in Space short were signs that they have plans to bring it back.

Currently playing through the game again. Mech stages are not that bad if you take your time to A rank them. Treasure Hunting is still the weakest part of the game. Hedgehog leves are still great.
Also, every time I play the game I just A rank some hedgehog levels beside complete Story mode (both side plus extra final level) I want to challenge myself to get all emblems and unlock Green Hill for first time. I'm losing my mind am I?

I went in excited for all of it. And honestly, I do enjoy most of a game except for specific Knuckles and Eggman stages. I got A rank on every stage and then spent tons of hours raising Chao in SA2 DC and then did both again in SA2B.

Chao Garden, absolutely adore that part of the game. Ended up spending almost 100 hours in that mode alone.

But yeah, overall I think I enjoy the speed levels the most but I sunk so much time into the Chao Garden as well. But I definitely also enjoyed the treasure levels if only for the music.

Not gonna lie, the multiplayer was where it was at and the A-ranks. I really liked A-ranking levels in SA2.

The rest of the time playing the game made me feel... nauseous? Something about the gameplay and the camera angles just threw me off. The sonic run around parts were fine but the other stuff just never sat right.
