I did. Had a 65in KS9000 too, then got a 65 CX a few weeks ago. The biggest differences to me are:I'm on a Samsung KS9000 since 2016 and have semi satisfied thus far. Looking to buy a CX soon hopefully. Stupid question but, anyone upgraded from a KS to CX? Impressions?
This is my plan as well.I am still on my KS8000 which is still going strong and I will probably hold onto it for another year.
I can't decide on what TV to get, looking at the X9000H for my PS5 but don't know if it's worth upgrading my 1080p TV just for games because I don't watch TV lol.
Thank you for the info I appreciate it.I did. Had a 65in KS9000 too, then got a 65 CX a few weeks ago. The biggest differences to me are:
- true blacks
- no more blooming. This always surprises me since I have gotten so used to height-tall columns of blooming with the Samsung when enabling smart led/local dimming
- significantly improved off-axis viewing angles (I don't sit perfectly centered to the TV so shifted colors was always a problem for me with the KS)
yes, it doesn't get as bright but you easily forget about that and just notice the ridiculous improvement in contrast from the oled panel. Other positives are all the other features and advancements just not available with the Samsung: hdmi 2.1, 4k 120hz 4:4:4, even lower input lag, working black frame insertion (never understood why our TV never did BFI like the KS8000), VRR, ALLM, etc

Same here and I agreeLG C7 from 2017. doeesn't have 120Hz but otherwise has been a champ with both systems.
Use the Micro Contrast Setting to medium.I have a 5 series 43" 2019 hooked to my PS5A 42 inch 4K TCL I got for $250.
It's pretty good. The HDR is trash, though.
I have never owned an OLED before so I'm kinda worried about all the burn in issues on these panels though :( I game a lot although varied games not the same game for 24 hours.I upgrade from a 49" KS to a 55" CX and agree with those points, the true blacks as well no more blooming make a huge difference. 120Hz and VRR support is amazing on games that support them too.

I'm worried about that as well, but it seems burn in has become less of an issue with each new iteration of TV, and I'll try to make sure I take breaks/ not game for more than 3 hours at a time just to be safe. Probably my biggest thing I need to change personally is not leaving the TV on when I take a break, as that seems like one of the bigger causes of burn in.I have never owned an OLED before so I'm kinda worried about all the burn in issues on these panels though :( I game a lot although varied games not the same game for 24 hours.
I just brought the LG CX 65" one day after getting the Xb series S and X and 1 day before the PS5 . I must say both sys look amazing on it .
Same. Mine just got delivered on the 12th. The CX HDR just fundamentally changes how I appreciate games.
