I currently have a LG B7A. Tomorrow I have a C9 comming and I'm super pumped for next gen! :)
Are you buying a new TV this fall in anticipation of next gen? If not what are using now?

The old VG248QE still going strong. I know I'll get a nice 1440p G-/FreeSync monitor eventually, but this one's served me well.

My main screen is a LG C8 Oled.

Before that I had a B7, but I wanted the Dynamic Tone Mapping options under Game Mode so I upgraded to an 8 series.(Night and day difference in HDR scenes.)

As a side note: I also heavily use some of these other screens:
  • Sony Bravia 1080p (Wii U, PS3, 360 gaming)
  • Hitachi 21 inch CRT from 1997 (retro gaming)
  • 1080p PC Monitor (study, retro gaming)
  • 4K HDR PC Monitor (work)
  • Handheld screens (Switch Lite, PSP, DSi, etc.)

For modern games its a Sony Bravia KDX8500C

For retro I play on a Sony Trinitron KVAR25M31 that has been RGB modded.

I recently replaced my ASUS PG278Q (27", 1440p, 144 Hz, G-Sync, TN panel) with a Samsung CRG9 super ultrawide (49" 32:9, 5120x1440, Freesync 2 HDR, VA) and it's all kinds of amazing:

Looking forward to trying RDR2 with this aspect ratio.

In the living room I have my PS4 hooked up to a Samsung KS7005 4K TV (Nordic KS8000) that I hope to replace with an OLED or whatever is the best tech in say 1-2 years.

I'm using a BenQ SW270. 27" 4k HDR color critical monitor with like 3ms lag. I need it for color grading but it's also nice for gaming on PS4 Pro. HDR could be better cause it's not super bright.

An Alienware AW3418DW and it's the best Ultrawide monitor on the market (and has g-sync too)

TV: Vizio p75f1 (2018)
Monitor: Samsung UE590

I have them both connected via splitters so i have the options to switch around with PC or consoles if I want to. Frameister takes care of all my retro stuff as well.

Monitor - ASUS PG27UQ 4k/144/HDR
TV - 65" B6 OLED

I dont really use the OLED for gaming as it has the infamous dim HDR Game Mode.

My monitor gets super bright and is great for HDR, so I'm running everything through it until I get a new TV next year.

I use a SEIKI 1080P TV. Don't plan on buying a new TV until my current one breaks or consoles stop supporting 1080P displays.

An LG 43'' 4K UHD IPS LED Monitor for console gaming. It's also quite useful for work purposes as I can hook up 4 HDMI consoles/devices at the same time.

Nothing fancy but it'll be more than suitable throughout next gen as well.

PC - Dell AW3420DW Ultrawide 3440x1440
TV - Sony 65X850G 4K HDR

Wish the monitor had HDR but eh. Honestly though most PS4 games look like garbage in HDR anyway. It's kind of terrible how few games actually benefit from the tech...

I'm sure the PVM is better for obvious reasons but I really love classic games on the OLED with CRT royale kurozumi shader. Playing DKC2 now and it looks phenomenal.

How do you deal with the static elements (4:3 blackbars on the sides, aperture grille or scanlines shaders elements) ?

The only reason I dont use the Oled for retro gaming is my concern in overall screen uniformity degradation.

AOC G2590FX (24.5", 1080p 144Hz TN)

It's my first 144 Hz monitor (I've played on a friend's but it's different experiencing it at my own setup) and I don't think I can ever go back. Same with Freesync, it just makes everything so smooth. I was also really surprised how good the colors were for a TN panel. Ghosting is nearly nonexistent and the input latency is really good. Very pleased with it for a sub-$200 monitor.

I chose my BenQ SW271 monitor mainly for illustration and photography purposes, but it does 4k/60 gaming pretty well.

I use a bunch of different displays depending on the type of game I'm playing, where I want to sit in the house, if the game supports certain formats, HDR, etc.

75 inch Samsung MU8000 for 4k gaming (HDR)
27 inch Asus MG279 for 16:9 1440p gaming
35 inch Acer Predator Z35P for 21:9 1440p
49 inch Samsung CRG9 for 32:9 1440p (HDR)
