Uh, the part in the Force Awakens when Kylo Ren beats his wound to keep himself conscious, or at least that's how I saw it. Don't know why it stuck with me.

There is A LOT. The new Saga movies really rekindled my love for Sar Wars in a big way.

I love BB-8, a worthy successor to R2. Fresh and new, but pure Star Wars in a little ball of fun. Love the humor surrounding him, from his thumbs up to the drunk alien putting coins in him in TLJ. My favourite new character is Kylo though, who perfectly encapsulates the back and forth between light and dark Anakin should've had in the prequels.

I love the new musical themes, especially Rey's and The Resistance's.

The moment when Rey pulls the lightsaber towards her in TFA is pure goosebumps every time.

Having rewatched the whole Saga recently, it also stood out to me more how briliant TLJ is. It's the rare blockbuster putting characters first and not shying away of putting them trough tough moments. And it's plot threads are so well thought out it all comes together in one of the most amazing finales of the whole Saga. TLJ has many great moments for me:

- The opening space battle, and especially the one sequence inside the bomber. A couple of minutes of pure suspense
The Force montage in Rey's first lesson. The best explanation of the Force we ever got.
- R2's cheap trick. Perfect blend of nostalgia and an important beat for Luke's character arc
- Yoda popping up and being Yoda again, in stead of the Kung Fu Panda from Eps II and III
-The Throne Room fight, and how its the first time we see hero and villain fighting side by side...
- and how this fight is the perfect lead into the obligatory 'join me' moment. How this moment is the perfectly build towards during the whole movie, slowly peeling Rey's defenses away every time she talks to Kylo, and how the movie places her on her most vulnerable just when Kylo asks this. And how this makes us doubt for the first time in the whole saga if a hero will really take the villains offer. And how this all makes Rey's ultimate rejection so much more powerful.
- the way Crait 'bleeds' more and more the further the fight progresses
- Luke's final showdown with Kylo, and his sacrifice
- the way the credits fanfare goes into the Leia's theme when 'for our princess' appears.

Midgar, With Love
Anything and everything Rey. She's my favorite character in the franchise even though I generally concur with folks that the OT trio is best. Her introduction sequence, her reaction to Takodana's greenery, her Force connection scenes with Kylo and her showdown with him after Snoke's demise are all top-tier Star Wars to me.

The Darth Vader scene in Rogue One is one of the worst scenes in the movie.

Rogue One does contain my favourite new Star Wars scene though, the one at the end with Felicity Jones and Diego Luna looking to the horizon, just before they are obliterated.

The AT-M6 'Gorilla Walker.'
Look at this absolute unit. If you had told me before TLJ that they could take the design of the AT-AT, one of my absolute favorite vehicles in all of Sci-Fi, and actually improve upon it, I would have called you a scruffy looking nerf-herder!

This thing looks mean. Like you picked a fight with an AT-AT and he goes and gets his dad. Look at that little AT-AT standing beside his dad there in the middle. GREAT design evolution.

The Millennium Falcon. I'm glad Disney gave the Millennium Falcon her own movie, as she's my favorite character in the entire Star Wars Universe. Hot damn she was a fine looking ship before the Kessel Run! I couldn't believe what a great job they did designing the prestine interior from before all the abuse Han put her through as a smuggler.

Major props to the designer/design team who dreamed up the original state of the interior of the Millennium Falcon.

I hope this is the worst fate she ever suffers. It will destroy me if anything happens to the Millennium Falcon in TRoS.

Real costumes, masks, animatronics, puppets and physical props/sets/miniatures!

BB-8 still absolutely blows my mind. Absolutely incredible design. To me, a droid that resembles an R2 unit but rolls on a soccer ball body sounds ludicrous, yet it somehow works beautifully on screen and in reality!

Oh, and the infamous controversy:

Kylo's lightsaber. It is still, and has always been, a badass design.

Baby Yoda.

Also just give Dave Filoni everything, the man has shown he can do it through animation (Clone Wars, Rebels, etc.) and live action (The Mandalorian).

He puts prequel Lucas and Abrams/Johnson to shame.

I can't find a gif of it. But my number one is Rey's lightsaber grab in TFA.

My number 2 is this moment -

Favorite character is probably Kylo Ren.
I love the scene when Han Solo is trying to talk him down.
There's the moment where the light changes and Kylo refuses to let go of the light-saber that was so foreboding and tense.

Yeah this definitely, I had a very similar reaction. It was such an amazing moment.
The conversation that follows after the battle is also perfect. Kylo asking Rey to join him and revealing that she's a 'nobody' (I love when he says 'you have no place in this story').

I was so skeptical of this guy at first but he completely reinvigorated my love for the Jedi.

Now that's how you do a lightsaber battle and simultaneously give us a satisfying ending to their rivalry while also explaining why Vader didn't use his usual hyper aggressive style of attack when the two fought on the Death Star. He knew how easily Obi-Wan could cut him in half.

I don't have a lot of love for the show, but Anakin just killing him himself, and the dark humor about it, is perfection.

They do so much with so little. Imagine there being a woman that Obi-Wan loved so much he'd leave the Jedi Order for her. The payoff is huge too. I like to think the whole reason the Obi-Wan and Satine relationship is there is to act as a foil for Anakin's with Padmé.

Plus, yeah, Anakin kills so easily. He has like no inhibitions at all. Jedi aren't really meant to be so... casual about murder. He could've just cut the guy's arm off or something but nope.

I keep going back to Kanan training Sabine. Exploring two characters, Mandalore, and the mystical side of lightsabers all at once topped off with melancholic strings.

That one scene does more for Anakin Skywalker as a character than the entire prequel trilogy

Not my all time favorite, but Enfys Nest's arrival during the heist in Solo was amazing. When their gang arrives and they begin their attack, the music is this frantic and scary chanting. Then Enfys lands on the train and they're this absolute tank that thrashes Beckett. Very cool.

The best non-John Williams Star Wars music.

It's not on Youtube but I also like the scene where Tarkin is telling him that the Jedi's refusal to use any means to an end is losing them the war and he agrees

Yeah, Anakin kinda sucked at being a Jedi. He didn't think they were doing enough and weren't letting him do more. Plus he was always angry and relied a lot on Obi-Wan and Ahsoka to keep him level headed.

That was so sad. After all they went through together, that's how it ended.

As for favourite scenes, this one is up there...

I love the few notes from the Imperial theme they use. It's so subtle yet so foreboding.

I fucking love this scene. It's perfect. In every aspect. The foretelling, the subtle difference in ideologies between the Jedi and Anakin represented and framed in that very moment. Obi-Wan reflects the Jedi Dogma and how in-effective it can be. Satine represents the Republic and how often its best intentions are it's greatest weakness and then there's Anakin, who as a Prodigy has always been able to identify the most effective way to complete a task.

Just Perfect characterization.

I actually really dig the Grand Inquisitor and the inquisitor lightsabers. The helicoptering is really fucking ridiculous but it looks cool occasionally too.

Luke's sendoff in TLJ's sunrise as a visual mirror to his start in ANH's binary sunset is fucking perfect

No joke, I tear up every time I see this sequence. It is absolutely perfect to me.

Binary Sunset in ANH is one of those movie moments that is so pure. It is a perfect mix of visual storytelling and music. And I felt like the TLJ version was just as perfect knowing the full story of Luke up to that point. I love it so, so much.

I know that people are really down on TLJ and the ST as a whole, but there are SO MANY MOMENTS that make me feel like Star Wars of old.

- Han and Ben on the bridge, with the door opening to shine light on them, only to have it turn to darkness as the sun is sapped of its energy and things turn...and then the way Han caresses Ben's face just before he falls (really hits home as a father of two young boys)
- The TLJ throne room fight
- The hyperdrive attack in TLJ
- The way everything in RO (as much as I have mixed feelings on it) builds to Scarif and how great the space battle and ground battle is
- Rey pulling the lightsaber from Kylo in TFA
- Rey and Kylo's force connection in TLJ
- The Kessel Run in Solo (similar to RO, I have lots of problems with Solo, but the last third is really, really good)

There is just so much to be enjoy.

This fight was awesome. The intention behind kylos swings was palpable. This is why i like ST combat the best. That's the oomph.

Probably the most impressive moment in Star Wars in general. Sadly also the moment the lore was destroyed beyond repair.
a fan theory i heard about that I kind of like is that using the "hyperspace tracker" thing gives that thing a presence in hyperspace as well as realspace, which is why it was vulnerable to that.
that was such a cool shot though

Things I love about Disney Star Wars.

1. The Force Awakens is my favorite Star Wars movie.
2. The Mandalorian (so far) is my favorite Disney Star Wars product period.
3. Baby Yoda was genius.
4. Rogue One's entire climax featured some of the best moments in Star Wars.
5. Solo is an extremly solid, really fun movie that I love.
6. The Last Jedi is shot beautifully.
7. TLJ throne room fight.
8. TLJ Yoda moment/R2D2 Moment
9. Kylo Ren as a character
10. Hilted Lightsaber

That's just 10 off the top of my head. I love Disney Star Wars.

Every Luke/Rey/Kylo scene in TLJ is peak Star Wars. Even from the OT, only the Empire Vader Confrontation and the ROTJ Throne Room scene match.
