The answer will probably vary wildly between manufacturers and decade and so on but in general, what type of motorsport car do you think looks the most interesting / aesthetically pleasing?

OT: I really love the latest Le Man's, F1 and Super GT cars. It's amazing how well those cars handle at insane speeds.

That isnt Formula 1.

If you're going to use this concept, use the term "open wheel".

You can then include Indycars which were gorgeous.

any f1 car unless some regulation that year turns them into nightmares. the nose on this monstrosity


f1 in the late 80s, early 90s was especially clean


roborace looks interesting (almost crosses over into a parody), but probably vaporware. hopefully some insane stuff comes out of ai racing.

Definitely rally, particularly those 80s/90s models with nice angles like the Lancia Delta S4, Audi Quattro S1 etc.

My fave is probably Super GT but I haven't really liked the cars since he JGTC days.

Miku BMW/Mercedes is fine though, as is the Eva car.

Rally cars and it's not even fucking close. They just look cool as shit, but also like something you can take anywhere, cause you basically can, unlike all the others which look like they're fragile as shit and would crumble in seconds if taken anywhere else other than a professional track. That said Formula 1 cars are pretty snazzy looking too, but if I had the choice to own any it would be a Rally car.

Soft spot for Le Man's looking cars like Lolas and the like, but Rally cars for sure, especially 90's cars like the Evo 5 and stuff.

LMP1's are mean machines. I love the look of them. My favorite though, and largely due to the sound is the Porsche 911 RSR. That thing is angry and the best sounding car in motorsports.

Came to say this I love these cars I had to settle for the civic ex-t but my next car will be a type-R.

Depends on the mood. Either F1 or Rally though I prefer Le Mans as a sport.

Gotta say though, I get tired of everyone's beef with NASCAR.
