I've been thinking about how there's been so many Marvel arcade games from different devs over the decades. That got me wondering...

What would a solid compilation of games of a licensed property look like, if the holder worked with all the publishers/devs?

My ideal Marvel Arcade Collection for example:
  • The Punisher (Capcom)
  • Marvel Super Heroes: War of the Gems (Capcom)
  • Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter (Capcom)
  • Marvel vs Capcom 1 & 2 (Capcom)
  • Spider-Man The Videogame (Sega)
  • Captain America and the Avengers (Data East)
  • X-Men (Konami)
What say you, Era? What kind of perfectly curated collection of a license would you like to see?

Ghouls N Ghosts
Super Ghouls N Ghosts
Ultimate Ghosts N Goblins
Gargoyle's Quest
Gargoyle's Quest 2
Demon's Crest
Maximo Ghosts to Glory
Maximo vs. Army of Zin

Can throw in the arcade and PC versions of the GnG games as well.

I would like to see a collection of licensed point and click adventure games and other oddities from the late 80's and 90's collected and remastered. Even if some of the games weren't particularly great I think it would help future proof many of the games, stuff like.

Wayne's world dos
The dark half
The rocky horror show
Pumpkin head 2

Titles like that

James Bond collection would be solid

Goldeneye
Nightfire
Everything or Nothing
Agent Under Fire
Quantum of Solace

Of course, there's like 3 different publishers involved so that will never happen!

All the Konami TMNT games from the 8-bit and 16-bit era would be a nice collection to have. I miss those beat 'em ups, and throw in the fighting game as the cherry on top.

Spider-Man, between the PS1 games and the PS2 movie games I would love to just relive the jump from 90's comic Spidey and linear paths to licensed superhero open-world.
