I'd buy a Switch Pro upgrade for that game. Framerate, resolution, and texture improvements would make the game shine.
The game director implies it will play better on PS5 so I decided I'll wait until then to play it:
How much of Destiny's load times are due to local hardware? Isn't a significant chunk of it related to live services?
The whole game needs a remaster for the Switch successor. The game looks and runs mediocre/bad in so many ways.I'd buy a Switch Pro upgrade for that game. Framerate, resolution, and texture improvements would make the game shine.
I kind of hope Ubisoft goes back to patch AC Unity which was heavily crippled by the CPU of this gen.
I don't imagine Bloodborne will get patched, but I wonder if a PS5 boost mode thing will help it along with The Last Guardian.
I never understood people who say Links Awakening runs fine. I'm no purist but that game chugs hard
Good luck with that one. I just popped it on with my 3080, and it still had really terrible frame drops
Crazy that they were originally targeting a PS3 release.Holy shit this one. I already beaten it but I would love to check it out running on a PS5
Unfortunately you'll be waiting a long time. CDPR have said that they're hoping to get that patch out some time in 2021, but can't guarantee it.This. Going to wait until CDPR releases the next gen patch/version before playing on Series X
AC Unity runs quite well in boost mode on the Pro.
Bloodborne never even got a Pro patch.Bloodborne deserves a polished, 60 fps, remastered/patch for PS5
This. I'm playing on pro and it is not much better. I would love a smoother experience on ps5.Fallout 76. I'm so hooked on that game again but it frequently dips to 20 or below fps on base PS4.

Well damn that stinks. Hopefully it plays on ps5 at least. I'd rather not have to play both consoles when I get my ps5.IIRC Bethesda said recently that they have no plans for a next-gen upgrade on 76 unfortunately.
Played 150 hours of Odyssey on PS4 Pro and I've only experienced that kind of issue when in a busy naval battle. Load times though... They are so bad and next gen is so close that I would just wait if you plan on getting a PS5 day one.AC Odyssey runs pretty okay on PS4 Pro, but I got into a huge fight yesterday, and my game turned into a slideshow. That was like the first time in my ~10 or so hours of playtime so far though. BUT the load times kill me and it's making me want to just upload a save file to the Cloud then resume on PS4.
Basically, I'm ready to go PS5 just for that sweet 1 second loading time.
As someone with a base Xbox One S upgrading to a Series X.... literally everything
They are giving Days Gone with the PS Plus Collection. I guess all of the games from the collection will experience some kind of improvement.
