Pre-ordered this way before I knew anything of the game due to being a huge Ninja Gaiden fan. What a disaster...

Isn't that the game that had hardcore innuedo throughout the game ?
False edit : yes it is !

I wish I played this (alone)

True edit : ah it's actually the prequel I quoted. I don't know if the PS3 game is still like this

Eh, we're doing this in good fun
though I sure as hell won't display the Xblades figurine anytime soon
Bwahahaha - I never did get into any figurines or merch, sadly. Now I have the money but no place to put them, and a kid who would toss them around.

I'm more ashamed about the amount I've spent on some games... so I guess those super expensive games I bought just to put in my shelf I guess?

Honestly, nothing. I'm not ashamed of owning Senran Kagura Estival Versus, it was the best and most fun Musou game I've played in years :p

The uncensored European version of course.

Brought it back after 20 minutes of playing and somehow managed to get my full money back. I don't know what bite me here.

We played it twice. Still own it.

What is the actual legal situation of The Guy Game? I always thought it was a wide release, so theoretically there are a lot of copies out there. Is everyone who owns it required to destroy it, or is it some weird thing where they get grandfathered in so long as they never ever play/sell it somehow?
In the 1980's, there was this girl named Traci Lords who quickly became the biggest name in the porn industry. Then they discovered that she was underage, and had gotten the job in porn using fake ID.

That means her work is child porn.

Her producers and co-stars got arrested. All of her movies had to be destroyed (including the millions that were already sold). Because they're child porn.

There are apparently a number of underground private porn collectors who have surviving copies of her movies, which command a high price due to their rarity (they were all supposed to have been destroyed, but obviously some survived) and due to the risk involved in collecting and trading child porn.

The Guy Game includes porn from underage girls who didn't even show a fake ID (they didn't show any ID at all, apparently). It's child porn. If you've got it in your collection, you might not get arrested, but there is no "grandfather clause" that puts you legally in the clear for having it. Do yourself and the world a favor and kill it with fire, otherwise there's a not-zero chance that you might end up in a prison cell next to Amir0x.

I was with a friend at GameStop when I found a copy of Magna Carta 2 for super cheap. It was on the fringes of my radar and I'd never seen the cover. It was a thrill of the hunt thing and I still haven't played it but I remember being embarassed for buying it. The PAL cover art isn't exactly flattering.

I bought Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus knowing full-well exactly what I was getting and why and I was still furious that it was fucking awful and I derived no pleasure from it. Like, it's just not fun and it's embarrassing even alone in your room in the dark.

i sold it at a great loss just a few days later but i was relieved to be rid of it.

just thought of another:

House-of-the-Dead-OVERKILL

Painfully unfunny, grotesquely juvenile, unforgivably dull. I felt bad playing it.

i felt the same about No More Heroes

Not ashamed, but I have Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 at home imported. Was a very relaxing game.

Genuine question to the folks buying multiple Senrans and DOA's and all other manner of softcore suspiciously aged porn.

Does whacking/itching it not do it for you? I feel like all motivation to buy these would disappear the moment you relive yourself. I can't imagine having my hornyness carry me all the way to the store to actually spend money on this stuff. What takes you so far down this rabbit hole? Is it a status thing?

No? You would be surprised how many women love to play those games. Dead or Alive the fighting game does have it easier, but I had a girlfriend that grinded a lot of shit in DOAX3 for me, because she loved how relaxing the game is.

I fell in love with the original Dead or Alive Xtreme Beachvolleyball on OG Xbox back in the day, just because it was a ridiculously good looking volleyball game with the DOA characters. It was relaxing as fuck and the option to play your own music on the hard drive was also pretty cool.

But, did you play Ultimate Ninja trials? I heard they were decent.

I didn't make it that far :( Dragon sword only, some weird difficulty (even though i was fine with it it didn't quite feel as fun as other games), really bad maps and progression. The little side rooms were kinda fun though where it was like some kind of an instanced area where you fight enemies (maybe that's what you were talking about). Other than that the game was really bad. I heard Razor's Edge was good tho so I'll try that one day.

I went out of my way to get "Summer-Colored High School Adolescent Record – A Summer At School On An Island Where I Contemplate How The First Day After I Transferred, I Ran Into A Childhood Friend And Was Forced To Join The Journalism Club Where While My Days As A Paparazzi Kid With Great Scoops Made Me Rather Popular Among The Girls, But Strangely My Camera Is Full Of Panty Shots, And Where My Candid Romance Is Going" when I was on a trip to japan, as a joke, because it was ridiculous.

I've never really played it.

It's this game for the curious:

I didn't think I would be ashamed but I bought Phoenix Wright on Ps4 when it was on sale on PSN. Expected a detective/courtroom game, got a VN chock full of tits and problematic women. I was pretty embarrassed playing it with my wife in the room.

TBH, I'm ashamed of most JRPGs and VNs out of Japan. Catherine was probably the most awkward game to own.

Proud of Hatoful Boyfriend, though.

Mayhaps not the game itself. But boy I should burn this piece of garbage, it's been in a closet for years. Even I am ashamed of myself. Its grotesque.

I can understand being ashamed of something like Senran Kagura, but just being ashamed of owning Japanese games like Ace Attorney or Tales of games seems a little much. Sure there's gonna be some pointless titillation there, but if that's your cut-off point for shame, you'd be hard-pressed to take in nearly any form of media, Japanese or otherwise.

As far as shame goes, I don't really have much that embarrasses me. I've plat'd all the Senran Kagura games, I've owned a few Gust/Idea Factory games, etc. The worst I can think is that a friend once bought me a copy of the special edition of Gal Gun on the PS4 that he got dirt cheap at a con. It's still in its wrapping to this day, though I'd be lying if I said I wasn't morbidly curious. I'll probably play it some day.

Also, as an interesting aside, one of my favourite facts about Senran Kagura is that despite obviously not being made with feminist intent, it still passes the bechdel test with far greater ease than a lot of other games that aren't anywhere near as seedy.

It seems I forgot everything about Phoenix Wright, but I only remember Mia having that problem a little bit by looking a bit bigger. Franziska has a whip yeah, but even googeling I can't find anything. It's exactly what you said...it's a detective/courtroom game where you have to find clues lying around, questioning people and then you have the gameplay in the courtroom. Did you play 5 minutes? Really surprised about that post lol

I bought this back in the day because I liked the Arcade version. SNES version was unplayable. Threw that in the garbage in frustration.

My distaste is frontloaded, if I'm interested in a game and I see it's full of fanservice I skip it.

The only pervy games (Lola and Leisure Suit Larry) I had installed on my pc were borrowed from people I knew.

So I got to the third chapter or so of the first game, which admittedly isn't very far,but the two adult women you meet are embarrassing. Mia is the first example, wearing a suit with no buttons done up and tits busting out, as well as being really suggestive the whole time, whilst apparently your boss...it was hard to play through with my wife there, both of us thought it was reductive, not even stereotypical.

Then the lady in the hotel who was the witness, she's literally in her underwear and is brimming with innuendo all the time. And the bellboy also insinuates you're going to bang her.

As I said, I came for lawyer game and so far got a tonne of leisure suit Larry level content!

Monster Monpiece. The PlayStation only had a small handful of card games that weren't related to Magic: The Gathering and Yu-Gi-Oh. So when this game came along, I heard about how as a card game, the mechanics were pretty solid. It was a toss up between two Vita card games to buy: Monster Monpiece or Uncharted Fight for Fortune. And even though I knew it had a dumb rubbing on the touchscreen mechanic, I still bought MM. I thought it would be a silly optional thing. Only I didn't know it would be this ALL the time.....

Edit: Oh, I forgot Leisure Suit Larry Box Office Bust. I never heard of the Leisure Suit Larry franchise. I found it in a bargain bin at GameStop for $8. It was during a time when I was trying to earn easy platinum trophies for the PS3 and I saw it was pretty manageable based on a guide. I didn't know LSL was a perverted thing when I bought it. And I didn't know gameplay-wise it would be one of the worst platforming games I ever played in my life. Horrible game.

I mean Mia immediately
dies after the tutorial case
and then in the second case the second character you mention (who I can't find in her underwear even in longplays but I am not sure, but in regards to age rating there shouldn't be something like this or else the US version would be censored) had a very good reason and everything for doing all of that. Otherwise there really isn't anything like that which is why I am so confused. I mean it's a game for kids. There was also no mentioning of her wanting to fuck the bellboy, but there was a great reason why she flirted with him etc. I am just confused. It's otherwise a great lawyer game which parodies the japanese law system.

Fun fact: Traci Lords would go on to be a pretty successful 'life after porn' actress.

My shame comes in the form of buying expensive versions of games and barely playing them.

Preordered Last Of Us for PS3. Didn't like it. Gave it another go by preordering the PS4 version. Still didn't grab me.

Bought the collectors editions of Final Fantasy XIII and XIII-2, as well as their hardcover guides. I've played about 8 hours of XIII and never touched the other one.

Preordered Bioshock 2; the one with the vinyl. I may have played that game for an hour. I have never played the music.
