Eh. Idk. I kinda feel like at that point I might as well just uninstall the game and redownload it or, alternatively, just use the ps4 Slim i'll ideally still have hooked up to my tv. That's where I'm keeping my FF7R DL, on that ps4 slim

Gonna start filling those SSDs with next gen games eventually but mostly to start with games that are getting free updates, especially if I get 60fps on consoles now.

Probably there won't be any significant difference in loading speeds between internal and external SSD.
Bloodborne is that crazy guy example that has faster loading from external SSD compared to internal SSD on PS4 Pro. Looking forward to the comparisons on PS5!
There might be patches that fully utilizes nvme speeds but I will hopefully get good enough speeds from my cheap 2.5" Samsung QVO 1TB. (Though I recommend people getting a Crucial MX500 1-2TB instead for better and cheaper performance compared to Samsung QVO and EVO)
