I am the controller for my company and my department (accounting) is still working. We have to ensure employees are paid, revenue is billed, expenses reimbursed, and so on. Good news is majority of our employees work at sites, not at the corporate office. Plus we all have offices and we have barred others from inter-office mingling . Also I am pushing for my staff to work different shifts (which helps employees without daycare right now). I am not as worried about catching it from work, as I am from other family members. My son works in the Kroger deli, which is a big concern for me.

I am working on a plan that will allow my employees to work from home (to be clear not my decision), if it comes to that (I believe it will). Some tasks might still have to be completed in the office, but I believe one employee at a time can come in and do it.

That said I am spending a lot of my off time running (mostly trail running which means not running into a lot of people). It helps keep my mind calm during this time.

Work from home, watch netflix, play some yakuza 3, wait for animal crossing to be unlocked, wait for disney+ to be officially available in France, work out, build some lego sets I haven't had the time for yet....

Basically, nothing changed, I just have 2 more hours per day now that I don't have a commute to work, hence the working out a bit.

Prepping my backyard for planting grass seed.

my life is basically the same. The only difference is I can't drop my son off inside daycare. We have to do it at the side door now.

I just crawled my way out of a deep depression that caused me to isolate myself for long periods of time. At one point I went a full month without talking to a single person, not even through text or the internet. The key to not going stir crazy is to talk to your cat like all the fucking time about everything. Also, people keep saying that they are going to use the extra time to cook more, but this is a common greenhorn mistake. You should be switching to microwave food and cereal so that you have more time to sleep.

My day-to-day hasn't really changed. I'm still working, either at home or in the office (one person from my group needs to be on-site every weekday so we're just rotating right now). After work hours I'm on dad duty and then I get my evening free time as usual after they go to bed. The biggest disruption was just with my kids no longer having school and preschool and figuring out what to do with them but luckily our parents live close and they've been able to help.

Honestly my life has barely changed. I'm now working from home every day instead of just some days. But beyond that nothing is really different.

Working overtime at a call center that's refused to let us work from home.

Meanwhile, my roommate lost their job at Dunkin today over this.

I have to work from home so it fucking sucks. I hate it. I was one of those people in college who was always at the library because I could never get anything done in my dorm/apartment.

Home is my space for relaxation and comfort. I have not been dealing well, mentally, with work encroaching on my home space. I already hate my job and had started applying elsewhere right before all this shit blew up.

Feels bad.

Working from home. Though, there are rumors of my employer making it so that some should stay logged out during this, to reduce the strain on the servers. If that happens to me, then I suppose I'll be doing the usual: exercising, reading, golfin', drinkin'.

Working 5 days a week from home instead of 1, but going a bit stir crazy since we live in urban area with fantastic restaurants but they're all closed =/

Probably start ordering some more delivery just to help support the businesses.

At least it's been nice enough for walks.

I've kind of wondered if this is "okay". Like I've hit the track every day thus far, because the way I look at it, there's no real risk of spreading anything in open air with nobody around (and if they are they're at the court and not running track as well; basically I'm keeping distance). But I also wonder in the back of my mind the whole time if I'm being irresponsible..

I think it's ok so long as you keep your distance from people.

I was slowly getting into Warhammer 40k. I have two kids and they cancelled school, so I ordered a ton of sets and all three of us are very quickly getting into Warhammer 40k.

It's honestly great, building and painting engages us all for a really long time each day.

My wife works from home and I work part time in healthcare so I just go into work as soon as I wake up, went in at 2:30 am yesterday, come home and spend the rest of the day with the kids.

Reading lord of the rings + watching Netflix to pass the time until Doom + Animal Crossing this weekend and then Gwent on Android + Persona 5 Royal. Might dust off my PS2 as well.

I'm still working full time, still heading into the office though I am working from home now and then. I have a hunch I'll be working from home full time very shortly.

When not at work I'm staying home, I've got lots to do around here. Catch up on shows, play games, exercise, build Lego. I'm also working on starting my own Youtube motorcycle vlog channel, should have my first video up very soon!

A game of Civ 6 takes 6-8 hours so always good to spend time without you even noticing it is passing. Otherwise always novels to read, movies to watch, porn to peruse. I live alone with no offspring so I only have to entertain myself and I have had lots of experience at that over the years.

Since my state officials have been telling everyone to stay home, I'm the co-president of my community organization so I've been keeping track of news regarding the coronavirus, checking emails.

When I'm not doing my work, I've been watching Netflix and playing games on my computer and my Switch Lite.

When I am not working:

Chill with my wife
Hanging out with my dog
Video steaming
Reading Books
Catching up on the latest in software dev (career development)
And of course, gaming and really just Dreamcast games and Rainbow Six Siege at the moment.

My husband is still going to work so I work during the day from home and then when he gets home I make dinner and then we watch TV or play games. Not too much has changed except that I am trying to stay away from stores as much as possible and we staying home on the weekend. I will eventually run out of stuff to list on eBay and I am not going out to buy more so not sure what I will do then. I do have to go to the PO to ship packages, so I do get out of the house for a little bit each day.

Today is the last time we are going into the antique coop we are part of for who knows how long. It is still open but my parents are 68 and 70 and I am immune compromised due to RA so we have decided it is best to stay away. Today it is only open to vendors so making a quick stop in.

running has replaced the gym. seeing friends less than normal. That decreased hangout time led to some extra guitar practice and a bunch of civ 6.

I was already a recluse so nothing has changed. Wake up, work from home/browse ERA, get off work and watch movies/shows, play guitar, listen to music, maybe play a game if I'm in the mood. I have a couple of books I need to read and HL: Alyx comes out Monday. Took 2 days off for that.

There has been no change other than avoiding public spaces until we need to go grocery shopping again.

My work is still open, and I don't get paid if I don't come in unless I use PTO. Starting next week we're going to split teams into shifts in order to decrease the number of people in the office at one time. My wife is an assistant director at a childcare center, and her boss wants to remain open.

My life has barely changed at all. Still work 9-5 but from home. After 5 it's a combo of wasting time online, gaming, movies, and reading.

What else is there to do? TV and videogames I guess.

Actual quarantining hasn't officially started yet and I'm already bored out of my mind. This is going to really suck. I'm getting really depressed.

Doing the WFH thing, but in the mean time:

-Going for walks
-Working on the video game backlog
-Catching up on some reading
-Catching up on some TV shows + movies

Overall it's been nice. I do have anxiety/worry for my parents/grandparents and others, and every time I cough I spiral out of control with worry.

So I'm at fucking work for 12 hrs a day because someone thought it would be a great idea to have a bunch of people together for extended periods of time.

Anyway I brought my Switch while I sit here and get paid to do nothing.

Reading. Posting bad opinions about games on the internet. So pretty much the usual. Soon: Animal Crossing.
