'15 Lexus IS250 F-Sport

Previously had been getting muscle/sports cars, but really like what Lexus brings to the table. Very cheap for a luxury car and reliable.

2015 Audi A3-etron. It's a hybrid. Nicest little neatest car I've ever driven. And it has totally different characteristics in different modes, something that makes it really unique to drive.

1: 1989 Nissan Sentra Hatchback
2: 1988 Mecury Sable
3. 1993 Pontiac Bonneville
4. 1997 Subaru Outback Sport
5. 2005 Subaru Outback Sport
6. 2010 VW TDI Sportwagen
Current: 2016 Subard Crosstreck. My 3rd and final Subaru. Hands down the worst car I have ever owned. Absolutely shocked at how bad the build quality is.

My gf and I have two cars. One is a 2017 Honda Clarity electric, the other is a 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia. Both great cars in their own way.

My Giulia is dark blue but otherwise that's what they look like. My car before these two was a 2003 Infiniti G35 and my first car was a 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I'd have to say the Alfa Romeo is the best of the cars I've owned, super fun to drive.

1996 Civic EX manual

2006 Mini Cooper manual

2016 CRV EXL

I just realize my cars are 10 years apart. I really only had emotional attachment to the mini.

2018 Toyota Tacoma. I don't love driving a truck, but I need it for work and it is a nice one at least.

I'll only go back to 2010 for the sake of post size.

2010 got the Aston Martin DBS
WrEBHk.jpg
2012 got the Bentley Continental GT
WrEmcx.jpg
2013 sold the DBS and got the Ferrari 458
WrE7WK.jpg
2015 got the R58 Mini Coupe JCW for nipping about town in, which we still have:

WrE3gH.jpg

2016 sold the 458 and got the McLaren 650S Spider which we still have. Fully loaded in MSO metallic Pearl White and Carbon Fibre with every option. Fantastic motor.

WrE431.jpg

Sold the Bentley last year as we weren't using it. Also have 6 fully restored classics that we've collected over the last decade and take out occasionally. (Jag MKII, Mini Flame Checkmate, Riley Elf MKIII, Austin A30, Ford Popular, Riley 4/72)

I've only had one car, a 2004 VW Polo since 2008. My next car is going to be an electric Polo when/if they're made available :|

A 2010 Honda Accord. I plan to sell it and buy a new car in 2020 or 2021. 10/11 years is long enough.

I won't buy an EV until battery technology matures. I don't buy fads. Temperatures are close to 50 C in the summer where I live; battery life and life time would be a problem.

Currently eyeing the new 2019 MB A-class to replace my ancient 1998 C280.

I also live in LA where driving is an undesirable activity.

First car was a 1979 Mazda GLC hatchback that I bought for $250 when I was 15 yrs old using money I earned from detassling corn over the summer for minimum wage ($4.25/hr at the time). It was several different shades of gold and a barn had collapsed on it at one point. It was a real piece of shit. It was RWD and had a 1.3L rotary engine that produced an incredible 53 HP. I traded that and $250 to a friend of mine for a...

1986 Buck Century. It had been in an accident and the front "doghouse" was a different color from the rest of the car. It was a dream machine compared to the old Mazda. It got me through the rest of high school. A few months after I graduated I got a...

1989 Chevy Beretta GT. This one wasn't mine, but looks identical to it. It was a 5 spd manual and I kinda loved it. It had a sunroof that leaked like a sieve when it rained and the car was stationary. I bought it from one of those small, sketchy car lots you drive past and wonder who in the world would by a car there. I had that for a couple years before getting a...

2000 Ford Contour Sport. It had a five-speed manual and a pretty zippy little V6, but was a huge piece of shit. Completely soured me on ever getting another domestic car. I have nothing else nice to say about this car. After this I went to a...

1996 Honda del Sol. Mine looked exactly like this one except it didn't have the tiny fog lights. I LOVED this car even though it was completely base. No power anything, including steering. It was fun to drive and I never had to cart a bunch of people around because it was just a two-seater. The removable hard top was great. I wish I still had it. I kept this for a few years and traded it in for a...

2003 Subaru Impreza. Just the 2.5RS model, not the WRX. I loved this car even though it was pretty sparse on amenities; had it for a couple years before I got into an accident and had to get something else. What I got was a...

2005 Scion tC. Nothing to write home about, but it was a solid little car and super reliable. I had it for five years, then sold it CarMax when I got a new job that gave me a company truck. That truck was a 2009 GMC Sierra. I'm not including it in this list because it wasn't mine and because I hated it. I don't see the appeal of driving big trucks. At least it was free. I had that for a year before I got different job and had to give the truck back. My next purchase was a...

2011 Scion xB. Not much to look at and certainly not a high performance machine, but it is by far the best car I've ever had. I will have had it for eight years this fall and I'm sad they don't make them anymore because I would probably get another one. I will have it for at least two more years while I finish paying off my student loans, and that is perfectly fine by me. My experience with the two Scions has gotten me to the point where I will probably only ever buy Toyota/Lexus vehicles in the future.
I have no idea what kind of car I want to get next, but probably a Lexus crossover of some sort. I'll see what's available in 2021 when I start car shopping again.

I'll only go back to 2010 for the sake of post size.

2010 got the Aston Martin DBS
2012 got the Bentley Continental GT

Goddamn, dude. Congrats on being rich.

2019 Ram Rebel as a work truck

2018 MB AMG C63S as my weekend car.

I'm looking to trade in my C63S maybe later this year or next year. I'm eyeing a 911 GT3 6spd Manual, New NSX, or the AMG GT-C/R

2018 Toyota Corolla. It's boring, but hopefully indestructible. Leasing it, will have to buy it or get another Toyota as I'm over the miles :(

Been looking at Mini Coopers lately to have something more fun in the garage, but can't justify it.

Still working on my Jeep Grand Cherokee wk2 2012. Have the Mopar cross bars installed. Next are running boards and tow package. Then all terrain tires. It's been a good Jeep since I bought it a year ago. Eventually I think I'll do an afe intake and Gibson exhaust. I did 2 tanks of gumout and actually have seen a 2mpg increase since then. So that's cool for $15.
