Smash is red, blue, yellow, green. So that's what I thought of.
I feel like other Nintendo games have placed green before yellow though. Either of those is fine.
Red>Blue>Yellow>Green because Green is a secondary of Blue+Yellow, which makes it the inherently inferior color. The logic to this (and there is a logic to it!) is that you alternate warm and cool colors, just like Euro banknotes.
So Blue/Red/Green/Yellow works, as does Red/Blue/Yellow/Green. But you wouldn't want to put, say, green and blue next to each other.

Oh yeah, heard about this. That's kinda nuts.I mean, if you want to get way deep into color theory, Nintendo probably put green last because green being considered its own color (and not a shade of blue) is a pretty recent development in Japan.
Red, blue, yellow, green clearly.
The three primary colours, then green along for the ride.
Well, it is the best color, gracious enough to let red and blue squabble over 1st and 2nd while it watches from afar.
This is video games and light. Yellow is no primary color. Tis RGBRed, blue, yellow, green clearly.

Of course.Red Blue Yellow Green is the only right answer
You're alternating between comparable hues
