Drive-thru convenience store. Don't make the customer get off their ass for a snack or a cigarette. Just drive through like you do for fast food.

Farm Stores are essentially that, although I find they are a lot less common than when I was growing up. I don't think I've been to one in twenty years.

An idle phone game where you pick worms. I was planning on coding it while searching for jobs while unemployed, but then I got a job too fast.

Multiplayer bidget`s, you sit down and login in with your phone to a network of other bidets. Then you take control of one of the sprayers and power wash other peoples asses. You can even add filters to your screen so it looks like your attacking the death star or a ww1 plane.

Sex-toys that you can control remotely by smartphone.
Thought of this at the start of smartphones. Told my friend we'd get rich. We laughed it off.

Movie pitch: A guy wakes up to his phone ringing. Someone at the other end is like WHAT DID YOU DO? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, WHY!? JOE IS DEAD! He hangs up and sees that he has a million notifications and missed calls. He knows exactly what has happened. He was in a Groundhog Day-style looping day for years and years, doing whatever stupid stuff he wanted. But now, at the worst moment, the next day has actually arrived and his life is ruined. Nobody believes any of his excuses and the day just gets worse and worse.

End of the story is he finally goes to sleep after the worst day ever, wakes up the next day to his phone ringing and someone at the other end yelling WHAT DID YOU DO? WHAT WERE YOU THINKING, WHY!?

He's still doing a Groundhog Day, it just shifted forward to the next day. Roll credits.

Wi-Fi. but with a cable.

Think about it, what's the most annoying thing about Wi-Fi? When it cuts out or drops your connection right? Well my idea is to have a cable running from your Wi-Fi router directly into your console or computer. Hey presto, high quality Wi-Fi all day, every day.

My idea- very specific to pharmacy- is to do away with the separate desiccants inside the stock medicine bottles- you know, those annoying drums or packs of beads- by having the inside of the bottle itself just be the desiccant. That way, you keep the medicine fresh while saving a lot of time in the pharmacy that's wasted simply by technicians fighting to get the desiccant out of the way of the pills. Only reason I haven't seriously pursued it is because there's just too much plastic in the world.
Having consulted with plastic companies before, this sound like a nightmare from a formed plastic standpoint. You would go from a mass produced easy to form bottle to something non recyclable and potentially multi component based.

Love the enthusiasm though 😉

a reverse microwave, that can make things very cold quickly as well as very hot. to quickly cool beverages, flash freeze IQF berries and foods, and to do all the warming functions a microwave can do as well

Mashed potato stuffed soft pretzels.

I keep yelling this idea at people but no one will fund it. Possibly because I have no idea how it'd work.

Once we have wearable AR tech, imagine an AR bulletin board app that allows you to view videos/photos/food preferences from friends and/or strangers for every place you walk by in real time.

Imagine going to a restaurant, opening a menu, toggling on AR via your glasses, and seeing reviews/pictures/comments from friends populate when focusing on a particular menu item. You could make an educated selection off of friends recommendations or select something new and leave feedback for friends after finishing.

It could also have uses in the wilderness. My significant other and I walked by a bush that contained a hidden snake. We were only aware of it because we saw the snake entering from the road. I would have loved to leave some type of notice for future pedestrians as a warning, but had nothing on me but my phone.

Earth
some type of new tech; goggles that let you see/detect fish underwater like night vision but instead show you "fish" signatures. would save fishers from waiting and searching for spots to fish.

I promise no one wants.to play a game where you own a lawn care business and expand your lawn care empire by upgrading your lawnmowers and hiring more advanced staff starting with neighborhood kids and eventually hiring 50-year-old super-tanned greenthumbs.
not right now, maybe

I'll start. Electric ladders (patent pending!!!). Ordinary ladders, like the one pictured below, are cumbersome at the best of times. But, what if, the extending mechanism was powered electrically instead of through manual exertion? A Bluetooth-powered app (since everything is better with Bluetooth) on your phone can be tied to your specific ladder and can control the extending of the ladder remotely. I know what you're thinking: "What a great idea!". Thanks, I know!

So Era, what are your million-dollar ideas?

This just sounds unnecessary and heavy. Since it's motorized, it'll require a motor and that motor also needs power, so a battery as well. You just made something heavy and clunky even heavier and clunkier.

I actually have some ideas, but I haven't fleshed them out yet.

Also, the guy who invented the Tubshroom is a member of this forum.

Clogged Sink Drain | Hair Clogged Drain | Drain Snake - TubShroom

Time and energy can both be saved with TubShroom when you need to clean the hair clogged drain. TubShroom Canada & USA are clogged drains specialists to clean the sink.
He's the guy you want to talk to about million-dollar ideas.

Some kind of "social" image sharing site which works indexing by image using hash functions (a bit like tineye/image search). You could just upload/link an image and it would create or show existing comments for the picture. I guess that would end up as a total disaster in terms of legal problems and quality of comments would be pure trash.

An AR app where you show it what Lego set you're trying to make, then you dump all your Legos on the floor and point your phone camera at them and it makes the pieces you need glow

Reading threads on internet forums about peoples million dollar ideas.
Writing down all the ideas and checking them against my secret point scale.
Based on the ideas that reach above 85 points i will create a business plan and present it to investors.

Until now i only found ideas that reached about 25 points, but i will not give up.

A Dragon Ball prequel series focusing on Master Roshi on the come up. Would include: origin of nimbus and the various other things Roshi has acquired, evolution of Turtle style training, battle against almighty evil, big tournament arc, sexy ladies, invention of kamehameha and training Gohan. More focused on martial arts and less on power creep and transformations.

When self-driving cars have been largely perfected, make convoys of self-driving RVs carrying retired seniors so it's a mobile retirement community. They can travel the US with minimal risk while remaining comfortable in their usual environment

Wouldn't you like to know huh.
I'll give you my half million idea though: a personal AC unit that's like a bubble or something and allows me to go out in the summer at 3 PM without being cooked like chicken wings

I'm not saying this isn't a cool idea, I'd watch it.

But is your million dollar idea "produce a hit movie"? lol

I would open up a comicbook store. STRICTLY a comicbook store.

Wow, is it that easy? You'd never know the owner of my local is a millionaire, interesting.

I'll send you my million dollar idea via PM, but first I'd need a down payment of only 100K, this will be the best investment you've ever done, I promise!

100K in, at least 1 Million out, you'd be a fool not to, right?

You mean a blast chiller/freezer?

Mashed potato stuffed soft pretzels.

I keep yelling this idea at people but no one will fund it. Possibly because I have no idea how it'd work.

They probably won't fund it because mashed potatoes and pretzels are awful by themselves, and putting them together would make some sort of abomination.

I've got some good video game ideas that i aint gonna share

No one wants to play 'Postman Chasing Simulator'.

This just sounds unnecessary and heavy. Since it's motorized, it'll require a motor and that motor also needs power, so a battery as well. You just made something heavy and clunky even heavier and clunkier.

I'm positive those problems could be mitigated in order to provide a superior experience to a traditional ladder.

Nice try OP, I'll see you in hell before I give away my big ideas!

You've never actually used an extension ladder have you OP?

Of course! I used one just now in order to reach you up on that high horse of yours.

Just kidding! I don't use them often but I did twice in the last week to get up on the roof.

I mean, hand to God, you could just hook up a small battery powered winch to the bottom of an extension ladder and boom bob's your uncle

Shit did I just give away a million dollars?!
