What are the most bizzare deep sea creatures out there?

That thing is the stuff of nightmares. I forgot isn't it actually really small?
That is its face. The dark spot/hole further back is like its ear.
I feel like this is cheating a bit since it's eyes does only look like that because of the change in pressure. It wouldn't look like this when in natural habitat.
Goes for a lot of freaky deep sea stuff.

Its funny, it only looks intimidating in that one still frame, all the the other shots and in motion it just looks like your average squid with slightly longer limbs

That's true, I was watching the other videos showing it and had the same thought. I still think if I were in the ocean depths and saw that things floating by I would most likely drown from hyperventilating water.

That's what the blob fish wants us to think. It's ashamed so it try's to steal the identity of a cooler looking fish.Same as the blob fish
