What are the chances of Deltarune becoming EGS exclusive?

With EGS swooping in to take away any decent looking game away from Steam, it seems inevitable that they will try to throw money at Toby Fox to make Deltarune EGS exclusive.

Do you think Toby would accept it or not? And if so, would you still wait 1 year for steam?

I don't know, Toby doesn't really strike me as the kind of guy who'd take the deal. If anything, he'd have a joke mocking EGS in the game itself. Then again, I don't know him so I can't say for sure.

Hmmm... nah, I don't see it. I'm going to guess that Toby Fox is pretty much set after the runaway success of Undertale, and he's always been open to having his game on as many platforms as possible. So I certainly don't think it's inevitable, but I wouldn't have any problems playing it if it was. Toby Fox deserves nothing but success.

Not to thread whine, but I'm not sure if the premise of this thread will be conducive to constructive conversation. I'd like to be proven wrong though.

It wouldn't affect me either way but if it's a deal that helps the developers then why not? I get why people don't want that to happen but there's lots of things I would want or don't want from lots of games that will disappoint me. Can't always get what we want.
