In my bulking days I used to do this.

2 cups of whole milk
1 Frozen banana
2 heaping TSP of peanut butter
2 heaping TSP of whey
a dash of heavy cream

I'm done with those bulking days and I mostly do milk, whey, and frozen berries now

Cold brew coffee

Unsweetened cocoa powder
Cinnamon

(occasionally some powdered peanut butter)

That's probably the smoothie I make the most.

I don't so much have a smoothie recipe, as much as I make them when we have a surplus of soft fruit that needs eating. Most common ingredients- banana, milk, yoghurt, blueberries, raspberries, figs, honey, spoon of porridge oats.

- Frozen spinach
- Some fruits (such as blueberries, strawberries, mango etc.)
- Oat milk
- Water

In terms of quantities I just wing it mostly. The entire idea is to eat more vegetables in a digestible way without having to put it in my regular cooking, most of the recipes I use and like don't have a lot of vegetables, and I tend to dislike side salads.

Been a while but I think this was my recipe:
1 cup coconut water
1 cup plain whole fat yogurt
1 cup of my homemade granola
1-2 cup of whatever fruit I have in the freezer
1 cup of greens
Scoop of chia seeds
Dash of vanilla
I'll add some kind of protein mix if I'm feeling like it

Frozen fruit mix of the day, be it mango pineapple, or strawberry banana, or wild berry

Abit of vanilla yogurt

A dash of lemon juice

A dash of water

Me and the kids made a smoothie Sunday morning that I thought was real good.

2 frozen bananas.
Handful frozen peaches.
Handful frozen strawbs.
About half a cup lemonade.
About half a cup heavy cream (it's all we had!)
About one cup whole milk yogurt.

Looks like you all use fresh berries and stuff but does anyone know if there are any decent healthy smoothie mixes I could make every day instead? I'm sure it's better to make them with fresh ingredients but I don't have a ton of time in the morning so the easier the better.

I was just diagnosed with Barrett's Esophagus and need to switch my eating habits to 5-6 smaller meals and I want to get rid of my morning coffee and have a smoothie instead as my mid snack. I'm still looking online but there are so many options I figured I would just ask all my favorite people.

Check the frozen section at your local grocery. Sometimes they have "smoothie packets" that you toss in a blender with some water. I'd even go and toss some baby spinach in for fun.

Thanks, I didn't think of that and will check it out.

For now I just ordered a variety pack of the Noka Smoothie Pouches on Amazon to try out.
