I think that the people making fun of it are making fun of it because we wouldn't be in 69's situation.

69 is a little boy who dived head first into full on Thug Life. Like, he's a whimp and a phony, but the real ass goons he surrounded himself with are not, nor is the actual trouble he got into.

He didn't mind hitting people up and getting involved in gang shit when it was contributing to his clout. But now he's facing real ass consequences...oh, he ain't no thug now. He in his, "judge I have a family" shit now. Shit's funny.

FUNNIER STILL are the old ass dudes, real gangsters who should know better getting swept up in this mess. Shotti all on TMZ. ALL These fools on Instagram and Snapchat. ALL THESE FOOLS telling their business over the phone! So real thugs are laughing too. What happened to moving in silence? TreyWay might as well change their name to Playskool at this point.
Money? Probably.
Clout? Maybe.
Intelligence? Absolutely not.

If he was smart enough to fuck off somewhere, he would've been smart enough to not get himself in this situation to begin with.

We wouldn't be in the same position because we wouldn't join the Bloods for music video clout after dodging prison on a child porn charge.
I guess the point I'm more so trying to make is that it's weird to me how "the internet" is (deservedly) clowning Tekashi... but for snitching? Like most of us are sooooo far removed from that culture. That's not some kind of "code" or "ride or die" meaning to it on the internet... just a punchline. And I'm not saying we shouldn't make fun of snitching as a whole. It's a stupid concept and shouldn't be stigmatized at all. But to make fun of HIM for snitching just rubs me the wrong way.

Oh god that's a terrible decision.

Sidenote: it's been kinda weird how snitching has been used online since this whole Tekashi thing blew up. Like you have a bunch of people online making fun of him for being a "snitch"... like we, if in the same position, wouldn't do the same thing. Like I don't know this for sure, but I feel most people making these "he's a snitch" type comments and stuff aren't from this culture where this kind of thing does matter. Does that make any sense? I've just found it annoying recently.

In the same position? Why would I possibly pay to pretend and be part of a gang, talk shit all the time, and run weapons? There is no chance whatsoever I'd ever be in "the same situation" so it's moot

I hope he registered his work with a PRO. Might as well make sure your loved ones get all the post-mortem money.

Dude would have to walk around in a burqa to not be recognized in public. Literally his name tatooed on his face.
The font is pretty box shaped so they could continue the arc on the top of the 6 and do the same for the bottom of the 9 turning it into 88.

"You must have me confused with someone else, bro." *points to the 88*

He's not going to last a year if he gets out. He's screwed himself in the long run with his comments, antics and beefs. The fact his entire family's scared for their life is proof enough to what he'll feel if he gets out.

That's something I feel really bad about.

Dude honestly should have just did his time. His whole family is going to need to get out of NY If they're smart.

WP at least gets you secure location with agent on site. Not sure what he is expecting, gangs treat snitching as the worst possible thing.

Is he trying to look hard by doing this? All of the "snitching" already tarnished whatever reputation the guy had, he's just painting a target on his back for no reason with this.

According to spotify he still has over 12 million monthly listeners.

Wouldnt surprise me to see him still make music.

I mean hip hop accepted Rick Ross this is the next logical step.

Lol someone in another thread about him pointed me to a video where he is Charlamegne's tha God )whatever that guys radio show is called, where 69 talked about how hard he was and he welcomed someone trying to kill him. And I have nothing against a snitch, because i think gangs are terrible and awful things - although i can understand the reasons of why they exist, which something needs to be done about - but he has looked so pathetic after all his talk on that show. now he is trying to maintain some sort of image rejecting witness protection haha.

Seems like a bad idea bro.

Dude would have given the judge the secret to Atlantis if he knew and the judge asked. On the same slice this dude is very noticeable.

Why is Snoop going in so hard on him? He as facing 47 years? I just don't get it. I would have sang like a canary too.

Also rejecting WPP is understandable, but man you are going to have to look over your shoulders for ever.

He will probably be fine. Doubt these gangsters have that kind of reach or want that kind of attention shone on them. If they do have the ability to murder without fearing consequence, maybe they should be rolled on?

Got charged with a lot of stuff that would've put him away until the 2060s but evidently decided to play ball with the prosecutors and tell them everything he knows in return for a reduced sentence.
Wow. Cant say he is in the wrong but he sure has balls and probably the means to feel safe by himself. And by himself I mean by himself and a team of heavily armed private security guys surrounding him 24/7.

Like everyone else said, he literally has his damn name tatted on his face. How would witness protection even work for him?

Realistically? His new life would've been living solo in a cabin in Montana forever. Order groceries in and all that.

The font is pretty box shaped so they could continue the arc on the top of the 6 and do the same for the bottom of the 9 turning it into 88.

Put a 1 between them and he can say he's just a Rey Mysterio superfan.

It's not like he'll get assassinated mysteriously. Some kid looking for infamy will get goaded into doing it and he'll get gunned down outside of a bar or whatever.

TMZ paparazzi can follow these people around 24/7, it's not that hard to track celebrities.

I do wonder if he does try to make music, will it be soul/RnB or something like that because he is toasted as a "hardcore" rapper.

He still can make music, but making money from it? I don't know. What club will put him up? The ones that do are the ones you shouldn't be going to in the first place

You think it's some kind of mystery spy shit to hop in a car with a pistol?

Even outside the country I'm sure they'd be able to figure it out.

Yeah they didn't deserve that at all. He's screwed their lives up, even escaping NY will be hard for them. They gotta go back to Mexico or something. It's not gonna workout.

Nah. Before this trial he had tons of people on his head and it's only due to his gang affiliates he wasn't touched. He had other rappers, gang members, random people from the states he visited, other celebs, everybody was on him. Now he's snitching on the gang that protected him and getting more publicity due to his antics and that's more people on him. He's got no people being him like before and more people have turned their backs on him.

He's in trouble.

I don't think it is that easy to pull off a drive by anymore unless it is in a really bad neighborhood. I guess we shall see though. Regardless of being a rat I hope he doesn't end up murdered.

Clubs get shot up all the time.

Usually it's not even the club; it's the parking lot full of people who couldn't get inside the club.

Shit that is why I don't even hit up the annual "Drop low for MLK Jr" white party anymore. These young cats don't know how to act
