Stargate SG-1 had an episode like it as well. It was pretty good, especially when O'neill started to lose it.

Fun fact: Harold Ramis originally suggested that Phil was stuck in the loop for 9-10 years, but later decided it was closer to 30 or 40.

In the original script (which was much darker), it was closer to 10,000 years; Phil tracked time by reading a page of a book each day and had managed to read through the entire public library.

My wife didn't like this movie. She has no patience for anything repetitive.

This is one of my favorite comedies ever, so I took it hard.

When Chekhov saw the long winter, he saw a winter bleak and dark and bereft of hope. Yet we know that winter is just another step in the cycle of life. But standing here among the people of Punxsutawney and basking in the warmth of their hearths and hearts, I couldn't imagine a better fate than a long and lustrous winter.

One more Groundhog esque bit of fiction is the ongoing fantasy story Mother of Learning. Month-long time loop, main character is a wizard, great stuff.

There's also a board game verison, Tragedy Looper, which I really want to be good, but it's really hard for the GM-ish player. But perhaps some of y'all can have better luck with it.

Star Trek Discovery did their own take on the repeating timeline story. It was pretty good too.
