all we need now is to find the lost footage from Batman 66 TV show where we see the Waynes murdered (though I was shocked to see that they do actually mention it once in passing).

Don't know if it was already done in the comics, but the Telltale Batman games had a interesting way to frame the part where Bruce relived the night.

They should do the Wayne murder in the opening. The bang freeze frame, camera swings to face the barrel of the gun and Batman runs towards us while a trippy James Bond intro theme song plays.

His parents were shot, yes, but they live on a special farm. A special happy farm, where they make buttermilk. They romp, they play, there's a hammock made of dreams. They write Bruce emails.
