RE3R should be higher while Revelations should be much lower. I admit, having such a title on the 3DS was so cool, but in the end, it's just a mostly okay RE title that certainly isn't above RE7, RE3R, and even Revelations 2.
Solid top 3 however, although I would probably put RE2R on top.

In my own personal list, I think I'd rank the top 5 like this:
1) RE2 Remake
2) RE3
3) RE remake
4) RE 7
5) RE 4
I never liked 2 that much, but I really like what they did with both remakes of the original two games. Although, in retrospect, I wish we had a 1 remake in the style of 2, just because I'm not a giant fan of the way 1 plays. I also don't like the Crimson Head mechanic all that much, but I realize that's a unique opinion.
Haven't played 3 remake yet, but 3 was and is my favorite game in the franchise. I just recognize in my older age that the 2 remake is the better game :)

Fuck outta here with this. People called it what it was, and Capcom made crummy choices in response, not even correcting the bad optics around the game. Calling it "the fault" of the people who criticized Capcom's shitty portrayal of its setting is a neat little way to ignore the gross-ass problem in the first place.
Revelations is the only RE game I just have no desire to even finish. Made it maybe halfway and was like, nah I'm good.

Top 5 is alright but I'd put RE2 Remake above 4. Revelations is too high up and RE3 Remake should be higher as well.

The most interesting Resident Evil is the original, finding out about the virus outbreak, the lack of ammunition and the mansion makes up for any of the game's weaknesses.

Here's the thing: Resident Evil 5 is not very ResidentEvily. But RE5 is still a good game. It's like half RE4 and half it's own thing.

Lost story short: I don't think RE5 should be grouped with RE6 and crapped on in the same way.

With all the changes that the 2 and 3 remakes did (for the worst overall, I would argue), I would be fine considering them as separate games. I agree with you more with regards to the original, however I would put the remake at the top of the list and the original somewhere mid-tier so what do I know.
I see that the king is rightfully at number 1. I would just swap REmake with the RE2 remake.

I've seen worse lists, for sure. This is a pretty good one. Having not started R3make yet, they have the right three games at the top, but the wrong order (REmake > RE4 > REmake 2)
Only a few things really stand out. I agree that Revelations is better than Revelations 2, but not that much better; it should be a spot or two higher, tops. And Zero is too high. It's a bad game. It's not RE6-bad, but it's bad nonetheless.

RE5 is a poor man's RE4 with half the content and frustrating CO-OP mechanics that butcher the single player. It is also more than a little racist. It is only maybe slightly better than Zero,CV and RE6 but that's it. It is a bad game all the same.

They made a solid list minus the Revelations placement. That game is definitely bottom 2 RE games.
RE5 has no redeeming qualities except the wesker memes. Like I feel people praising it have forgotten the ending where Chris punches a fucking boulder in a volcano. And somehow RE6 takes it to even further level lol.
