DLSS is making ray tracing features run a lot better. I have played Metro Exodus at 60fps+ with RTX card and Battlefield V has been optimised greatly since releaseAt 2fps?
What could run this game with raytracing on??
Even Quake 2 is super demanding with this tech.
Quake 2 used it for every single feature possible because it could. You won't see that in a 3rd party game.At 2fps?

Banging, now I can see my hometown with better lighting than what's on offer in real life.
I'm fine with that, London often looks like a grey bit of shite at the best of times. This happens multiple times with shadows in game.. too many times too "beyond realistic"
Just throw more Stadia data centers at it to reach that sweet 4K@60fps.At 2fps?

HFTS is actually combination of raytracing and shadowmaps.Shadows maybe again? WD2 had HFTS and PCSS and if I understood these correctly, this was already done with Ray Tracing.

With DLSS, I get 60fps on Metro Exodus with ray tracing enabled (2080ti).At 2fps?

I wonder if it will also be RT on Stadia as they use AMD iirc.
Well they do claim that Stadia has RT, so...I guess it's not out of the question.Well that is cool. I think it makes the most sense for reflections in this game, given how it is a city with a lot of glass, metal, and presumably, wet pavement!
Good question. Probably not as a result. Although the way they virtualise there... who knows

Awesome news. I'm really enjoying Metro maxed and can't wait for more RT.
What other RT news came out of E3?
Hopefully 15TFLOPs of rtx2080Ti will be enough for 60fps and raytracing combined.
I still hope CDP implement it for Cyberpunk though.
Thanks.Wolfenstein: Young Blood will implement Variable Rate Shading and as yet unspecified RTX features.
At 2fps?

It's still a ways off, but I'd be surprised if Nvidia didn't partner with CDP. It would be beautifulHopefully 15TFLOPs of rtx2080Ti will be enough for 60fps and raytracing combined.

Sweet news. Do we know if HDR is also confirmed? This game seems like a perfect fit.

All DXR/RTX games are running at above 30 fps right now even on RTX 2060. Why 2 fps? Even Q2RTX runs fine on RTX cards, at well above 30 as well, depending on a card and resolution.
