Visuals mode is 30fps with ray tracing and high visual settings.

Dunno what the changes are with the visual settings.

I think this is the first time I'm seeing WD: Legion at 60FPS and no stuttering while driving. Not even my 3080 PC can do this.

Maybe a fps boost on the series x. They've done Unity and the remastered games so far

To be fair it was a rock solid 30fps on PS5 and Series X but I definitely prefer the 60fps option.

Yep and I've heard/read that the WD engine is not particularly well optimized either.

Indeed. Even Cerny had said he expected RT to come along as the generation got older, not in the initial run of games.

Nah, MS and Sony's first party will deliver it. MSFT is for sure dedicated to 60fps; they were last generation so I don't see much changing this gen. Only the addition of RT.

Streaming related stutter was also somewhat present in WD 1&2. Ubi just doesn't care about it.

There's also Metro coming soon with the crazy RT lighting update, and they say it will be 60 on consoles also.

After playing a couple of hours on PS5, here's my thoughts:

• The 60fps mode makes a dramatic difference. I am actually enjoying the game now.
• I have noticed screen tearing a couple of times on busy fire fights or busy intersections.
• When closing the map, the game stutters for a split second before going back to 60fps.
• Overall, I don't miss the ray tracing, game still looks good.
• This should've been the default mode on launch. It would've made all the difference.

I got kinda far into the game at launch on a One X, and it was an ugly experience. Might go back and finish it now on my Series X.
