wouldnt this cut, have no Sound and graphical effects? they would need to spend millions to make this cut something that is not full of green screen

Partly correct, there's probably at least temp sounds and work in progress vfx so the "essence" of the movie is there

Would still need money to polish those up though

Exactly. They already lost several millions of dollars on it the first time, what makes them think they will make enough to offset new effects work this time?

They could polish it up as a rough cut and drop it exclusively on HBO Max next year. Would be a big drop for a lot of people and would get in a lot who are just curious as to wtf it is.

My guess is that his "directors cut" is just pieces of all the existing movies and deleted acens

Nobody questioned that the clown had shot the damn thing, just that it's not in a state anywhere near being screening ready..the amount of editing this would need just isn't worth the cost to WB, especially now that they seem adamant to just disregard any canon it set up anyway.

Stop stroking this idiots ego, it's distracting him from that gross Ayn Rand adaption he's supposed to be doing.

Yes. It's a first cut/rough cut with no finished effects or soundtrack. Every movie starts out like this and you wouldn't want to watch any of them. Anyone who legitimately believes the Snyder Cut is a thing doesn't know anything about how a film is made.

The fuck is Snyder even doing at this point? It feels like he's waging a war against WB or something.

IIRC Fountainhead rights are with WB. That was supposed to be his gift for seeing the DC movies through.

Probably. WB either seems uninterested in responding, or they're biding their time until Snyder says something that they can take him to court for.

Same thing he's been doing since the film bombed, just stoking fires to maintain the attention he's been getting. He said part of a bike that was pretty much off screen and under a sheet was robins once, and another time claimed that the Doomsday in BvS wasn't the real Doomsday. He'll say pretty much anything to keep that fanbase going.

Pretty sure he's getting paid commission on how many people he's getting to sign up for that crappy social media site too at this point, lol.

Why would anyone want to watch basically the same movie, only with more libertarianism.

AT&T could negotiate with Zack Snyder to create a Justice League Snyder cut and make it a HBO Max exclusive. Just saying.

He wanted to do Final Crisis and kill Batman in JL2?

Screw this man. Why do people keep paying him attention.
Because his original plan was for his story to be done after JL2. Then WB would reboot with new cast and stories. Zack always stated that after MoS, he wasn't planning on doing a continuous 10+ year run of a universe. He wanted to tell a 4 or 5 movie arc for Superman and be done with it.

Yeah. It's almost like if you fire a guy while he's mourning for his daughter's suicide, hire a ringer to mutilate his work, and yet force him to keep it all secret and keep his name on the release, you might... kind of... earn some... ire, there. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Somehow, this makes it even worse.

That "directors cut" image is fake as fuck. They don't call it a "directors cut" while they're still filming.

I thought there were two competing narratives: either he was fired before his daughter committed suicide because the film was "unwatchable" or he left the film to mourn his daughter's suicide. Did I miss something?

so marvel kills off iron man to give the thanos threat more gravity but when zach snyder does the same thing with batman, it's bad?
Especially since we started with a 45 year old Batman in this universe. It was the plan all along and there was nothing "wrong" with it. It was just a different type of story to tell. If he had always planned to end his story then what's the problem? WB/DC came in last minute and decided they wanted an extended universe to go on like Marvel's and that kinda fucked his whole plan. They tried to "fix" it while writing/making the movies and we ended up with the mess we got.
