What if Dan Snyder is finally renaming his team to evade these accusations?

"What Washington Redskins? I dunno what you on about. We here are the Washington RADSKINS!"

I wonder if the team's front office is responsible for any of the crazy speculation about the content of this article (assault directly committed by the owner, forced abortions, sex trafficking, paying refs, etc). Some of the stuff thrown out as possible in the last 24 hours was so insane that it makes a really bad situation like this almost seem mundane.

If Robert Kraft made it through a prostitution sting with trafficked people, nothing is happening to Snyder here.

This is way different from what RK did. Not to say Kraft's action were acceptable, but that was the transgression of a single person during their personal time. This from what I'm reading sounds like institutionalized harassment and bullying that started from the top of the organization. The NFL will likely look at this a lot harsher then they did the Kraft situation. I'm doubt they'll pressure Snyder to sell the team, but the Washington franchise is gonna see a lot of changes in the next 6-12 months.

I don't care if Snyder himself didn't do the harassing. Two things have been revealed from the article that fall back on him:

1. Hiring only 1 person to be the entire HR Department, in addition to other tasks.

2. Treating the executive staff, particularly Greene like garbage

Ultimately, the people who committed these acts report directly to him. He is ultimately responsible for the actions of his direct reports.

I don't know if the Mark Cuban excuse is enough here since Cuban was separate from the Business side of the Mavericks where that harassment occurred, while these people work directly under Snyder.

At the very least, there will be more pressure than ever on the NFL to get Snyder to sell.

Idk, seems big in a post #MeToo era.
They sensationalized the hell out of it tremendously, talking about players having sex with coaches girlfriends, bribing refs, pedophilia, etc. and now its likely people get burned out because of it, just like the prostitution story from several years ago that came out at the height of MeToo and was quickly forgotten about it. It's yellow journalism at its worst

I really wish idiots on twitter hadn't started making up rumors distracting from the disgusting sexual harassment that occurred to these women.

Reading the story and those text messages...kind of crazy(but not surprising) that these dudes are filthy rich, work a job that gives them instant clout, and likely have easy access to woman because of the team, yet still can't stop themselves from harassing their co-workers and subordinates.

Yeah really agree about that. Teasing a story that is in actuality mass sexual assault and abuse charges is embarrassing.

And there's a sizeable number of them that couldn't even talk because of NDAs that the team refused to waive.

Unsurprising behaviour from one of the worst sports franchises in the world.

And I agree it was pretty sleazy for people to tease all this as if the fallout and outcome took permeance over the allegations being made here.

Just continually burying themselves.

Awful. The focus/pressure should be on those NDAs. The NFL can't say they care about women's voices while those NDAs are in place.

Let them speak!

An unfortunate update to this. Dan Snyder is fucking trash:

Dan Snyder being trash isn't new news. I was surprised when this story broke and he wasn't named specifically when we already had the stories from years ago when he was allowing high rollers to spy on the cheerleader's island photoshoots.

Jesus. Snyder's always been trash, but he just keeps finding ways to add on to the trash pile if his character.

Also, I wouldn't be surprised this happens to varying degrees with a lot of other NFL teams. They get paid garbage wages. Like minimum wage wages, maybe less.

Not surprising for an owner who regularly used his cheerleaders as escorts for others in the organization.
