He made his money in the 1970s and 1980s in New York real estate and New Jersey casinos/gambling. He absolutely has mafia ties.

You mean Daddy Trump. Because Trump hasn't made shit on anything. It's astounding how incompetent he is with everything he's ever touched. The only reason the world even knows of this loser is because his Daddy left him a fortune and he's used that fortune to swindle one group of investors after another.

I really, really want to know what Trump's been told is going to happen to him when he leaves office. Clinging on like this obviously isn't about ego any more, he's clearly terrified.

Trump's fixation on Georgia is fascinating to me.

Because not only can he not accept that he lost the election, he can't accept that he lost Georgia. Trump is the Republican who lost Georgia.
Tomorrow should be a massive meltdown at his rally considering: GOP blocked the 2000 he wanted, passed the defense bill(that Purdue and Louffuer didn't oppose), and now the Ga GOP just exposed him and backstabbed him. This won't end well for the gop

Time to re-run the "read the transcript" playbook and insist it exonerates him when it does the opposite.

He has leverage in Georgia. He's threatening to torpedo the election this month.

After this I expect him to torpedo it at the rally tomorrow(Election Day is Tuesday and where all the gop eggs are sitting. Even a slight depression in turnout would cost them)

On Monday, he is going to outright tell the people of Georgia not to vote in the runoff unless the Republicans overturn the results. I'm like 80% convinced.

Edit: Yeah literally what the last two posters just said

I think people might still be underestimating the ego factor tbh, his brain doesn't operate the way a normal person's brain operates. His entire life has been spent desperately trying to prove to the world that he's a winner and the worst thing in the universe to him is being laughed at as a loser.

I really hope I'm wrong but I've seen way too many rich and powerful people get away with bullshit in my life that Trump being thrown in prison is an "I'll believe it when I see it" thing.

Pretty much. His father shifted almost the entire family fortune to him slowly over the years before he died to avoid paying taxes on the money and Donny has squandered almost every cent though over-extension into other businesses and debt. He only got wrapped up in Russia because no one on this side of the Atlantic would give him another cent, including the mafia. I remember reading an anecdote years ago that Trump would have been a dead man had he not been so famous due to all the mob money he lost in his Atlantic City casinos.

I feel like that's less for Trump and more for the people that are trying to get Mike Pence convicted for treason and executed via firing squad. They're scared of the monster they created now that they can't control it.

Love this audio coming out. The hopeless MAGA base will ignore it but as long as independents/Democrats in Georgia are even more motivated to vote, I'll be thrilled. The GOP made their bed and now have to sleep in it. Even though I have no respect for Hawley and Cruz, I will have even less for these cowards if they continue to fight for Trump.

I haven't researched Raffensperger but I have to assume he's pretty shit.

But this? I'd definitely give him a fist bump. Just wish he'd go all guns blazing.

Hope this gets constant play everywhere. Shit, if I had the money I'd put it on billboards everywhere.

Straight up trying to use mobster tactics... how many of the senators that are going to stand up against the ec vote on the 6th got a similar call and weren't brave enough to call his bluff?

I'm trying to figure out a way that the timing of the release of this audio could have been worse. Who thought it was a good idea for Trump to have a conference call with the Georgia officials just a few days before the runoffs? When it's realistically too late to change anything?

And why would the the Georgia officials release the audio? Everyone with brain cells left knows that Trump is a lying idiot, releasing the audio is only going to further infuriate him right before you need him to visit your state to rally for your senators. None of this shit makes sense from their perspective but I'm happy they did it 😂

The extent he'll go to in order to protect his ego is exactly why I think this isn't about ego any more. Usually when an egomaniac loses at something they'll change the narrative - they lost on purpose, they meant to lose, they lost to show you the true meaning of Christmas. What an egomaniac typically doesn't do is put themselves in a position where everyone can repeatedly see how badly you lost, over and over again while desperately trying to cling on to a job you very clearly hate.

And when you say "fight for Trump", they are legitimately committing treason for Trump.

I really fucking loathe how it seems as if as long as it's something that is highly unlikely to work, no one with authority seems to care what Trump and his fellow Nazis doing. Sure, they are actively trying to overthrow the election, but they're really dumb and can't properly execute on it so we're just going to let the clock run out.

How in the blue hell are Dems not burning fucking Congress down over this? There should be a flood of nonstop emergency hearings. If the Republicans are going to do nothing and instead actively support Trump's effort to commit treason, fucking blast them for it. Fucking do SOMETHING. FUCK.

Trump just planted flowers on a minefield for his opposition and they think he built them a park.

Today Trump set the trap and the media is sniffing the cheese.

Who can blame you?

We've seen weeks of seditious and treasonous behavior from Trump and the GOP and yet by all accounts, none of these fuckers are going to pay for their crimes.

They literally tried a fucking coup and the response from an amazing amount of people has been a shoulder shrug.

What's brickwalling? Genuinely curious.

it's where the audio hits the top end of the spectrum and clips, losing information. Likely as mentioned above it was just the device being limited, likely not 44.1hz

You can see if in the recording, how there is a solid line at the top and bottom where the frequency just stops, looks like someone took scissors to it.

One of the commentators on CNN speculated that Trump may want the Democrats to win on Tuesday, because if the Republicans take one or both Senate seats, it only cements that Republicans expect Trump did well in the 2020 election and undermines his election fraud narrative.

The fact that there's audio is what's damning here. Trump likely found out about WaPo's report coming out and did his usual shit, not expecting audio to be dropped as well.

Impeachment there were statements about what Trump said. Losers and suckers there was no audio. This is full audio, and it looks incredibly damning. Trump may not realize this, nor does he care, but it really makes the idiots planning their bullshit Wednesday look really bad here.

None of this will matter in 2-3 days. Trump and the GOP will obfuscate this into oblivion. All he has to do is complain about Americans not getting $2k checks one time on Twitter and nobody will remember this or even care except Pelosi who will inevitably do nothing because she's Pelosi.

Yeah, I don't get what it actually takes to get some of the Democrat's pulses up. These fucks are breaking the law left and right and yet I've encountered Democrats on places like Alternet and Salon claiming it is unethical for Pelosi not to seat these shits or it's "wrong" for Biden and the Dems to charge them with sedition, treason, etc. once he takes office.

Just...unreal...

Maga crowd will care when Trump pummels Louffuer and Purdue tomorrow for failing him

Purdue did only have a margin of what 2000 votes over Trump? Dems already have apparent gains over the primaries and GOP is fully reliant on Election Day. All it takes is enough apathy, Trump losing it at his Rally tomorrow is just a plus, especially if his cult causes interference at the polls

My wife is a therapist and she said he is the only person that hits every single metric for a narcissist. Most have some levels of empathy, but he has none. He literally is doing this because in his mind, he's right and can never be wrong, so he will create alternate worlds in his mind and project it out to the real world.

Mary Trump said the same, he'd lose a court case that would cost him millions, and purposefully line up an easy win case for thousands, and treat that smaller case like it was the biggest case he's ever won. Because in his mind, it was.

Trump is so much one that you don't even need to be qualified to recognise he is one.
