Maybe don't release it in the middle of the night on a weeknight.

I know spoilers would still be a thing, but it would be so much easier to avoid if this dropped on Saturday morning, or Friday night.

It airs in more places than North America. It isn't the middle of the night everywhere.

That being said, I do think there is room to adjust the schedule a bit. Even moving up 3-4 hours so that it's 8/9 PM on the west coast and 11 PM/12 AM on the east coast.

There are more audiences than just the US audience though. I'd prefer it if they would just drop it at local midnight since right now I wake up to spoilers everyday, so first thing I have to do when I wake up if I don't want to get spoiled is watch the episode. But local midnight would mean the spoilers would come from AU/NZ hours before it would drop in Europe, so that's not gonna solve anything either, lol.

I've enjoyed waking up an hour early to watch the show and then not worrying about other people.

I'm not sure I'm gonna do this for every D+ show but I've enjoyed watching this on my phone with AirPods in bed at 7 am each week and then watching a second time at night with my wife on our TV.

i'd rather it premiered at 6 pm than 3 am, but it'll do.

My top three favorite season finales:

Number 3: The Office - Casino Night (Season 2)
Cold open: Jim pranks Dwight into believing he has telekinetic powers. Michael invites two dates to the warehouse Casino charity event where Kevin loses all his money to Phyllis, Bob Vance (of Vance Refrigeration) awards Creed a mini fridge, and Jim professes his love to Pam before kissing her. We're left to wait a whole year to learn what happens next between them.

Favorite quote: "Why are you the way that you are? Honestly, every time I try to do something fun or exciting, you make it not… that way. I hate so much about the things that you choose to be."

Number 2: Lost - Through the Looking Glass (Season 3)
The crash survivors go to war with The Others, Desmond watches Charlie heroically drown in the underwater Dharma observatory, and a new narrative mechanic is introduced into the show: a flash forward into the future where we learn that crash survivors Jack and Kate have made it off the island. We're left to wait a whole year to learn who else made it off the island and how.

Favorite quote: "If you say 'Live together, die alone' to me, Jack, I'm gonna punch you in your face."

Number 1: Breaking Bad - Face Off (Season 4)
Walter lets Jesse think he almost accidentally poison his girlfriend's son, then teams up with Hector Salamanca to kill Gus by planting a bomb in his wheel chair after convincing Gun that Hector ratted him out to the Feds. We get a brutal shot of Gus' face blown off before learning that Walter actually did poison Brock. We're left to wait a whole year to see the fallout of the power vacuum created by Walter and Gus' final confrontation.

Favorite quote: "I won."

Your turn.

You don't happen to be talking about an "official promo" that has only been posted to a channel called "Screen Culture", are you?

They only make fake trailers and fan edits that people keep seeming to think is legit.

oh my bad thought it was official, even had the disney + thing at the end and everything. Oh well.

I just want to put it out there for posterity, but given that episode 8 was titled Previously On, I'm predicting that the finale is titled Please Stand By.

Need to wait until I get home from a meeting to watch it tonight. Very excited, though. I don't think there's going to be any Earth shattering twists, just a good solid ending.

So assuming the fantastic 4 guy doesn't show up or whatever, the "I've got an aerospace engineer friend, wink!" was actually just hyping up the US military? But surprise, it's a woman engineer! In the military doing ~cool~ science stuff. Join the military! JOIN IT.

I re-read Vision (which I meant to do before the show actually started, so I figured I should at least get to it before it ends) and it does make me hope that White Vision becomes a thing - it's such a good opportunity for "robot angst" that we didn't get the first time around. Bettany's Vision was always very human, just a little... off. King's Vision is very robotic (even if that doesn't really make sense for the character at that point in his history), and you can play with that some if you start with a clean slate.

I don't think it's going to happen and it's just fanwank, but having him survive, end up on the Thunderbolts, and eventually turn over a new leaf would be fun. But I think he's gone after next episode, in both forms.

Did they really ever "hint" that the aerospace engineer was going to be some reveal? The more I think about it the more it feels like it was just a throwaway line that for some reason people took and ran with. Like wasn't the line just "my engineer contact should be here soon"

Teyonah Parris did in interviews....but that might have been reporters reading into things...or another Bettany like incident.

I think that tease was just a way to distract viewers from AAA. (Unless Skrulls.)

Wow never saw that. But that is weird then, this kind of stuff, especially if bettany really is just joking about working with himself, may seem like a funny little thing in the moment but it's kind of annoying as a viewer haha

Al Pacino, you degenerate fucks. It is happening.

Edit: I am down for an avatar bet. Mine sucks already, so it's kind of an easy bet to make.

Wonder if Disney+ is gonna crash for some of y'all again in 3 hours.

(Is that specifically a West coast thing? Cause it hasn't happened to me these past two weeks.)
