Greetings Backers,
We are now into 2018 and all of us here at the Dies irae World Emanation Project want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! With all of our backers in our hearts, we look forward to doing our utmost to see the project through and making this year a good one for all of our backers.
This update concerns a change to the "Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" R18 patch route clear prerequisite.
"Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" on Steam has now been updated so that backers who have both DLCs (listed below; backers whose rewards include the digital version should already have been sent keys for the DLCs) , can play "Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~" without having to clear a route first.
To play "Dies irae ~Acta est Fabula~", you will first need to start up "Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" once. The prologue comes up first, but you can quit once the game is fully loaded.
We hope you will take advantage of the change to enjoy the experience.
"Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~" DLC on Steam
1. Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~ Act I: Omnia Vincit Amor (Kasumi & Marie scenario)
2. Dies irae ~Amantes amentes~ Act II: Nihil Difficile Amanti (Kei & Rea scenario)
As we continue to make progress, we will have further updates here on Kickstarter. While there are elements of the project that may not be in line with all backers' expectations, we humbly ask for your support to the end.
I should go back to Looking Glass Insects...Started Subahibi, it was pretty interesting for 30 minutes but then it became Fate/Stay Kitchen.
Fucking finally. I really hope we won't have to wait as long for the next chapter...tsumihoroboshi (higurashi 6th chapter) is heading into beta testing finally. thank fuck
Chapters 7 and 8 are all "in testing" as well (i.e. out of TL & editing) so I don't think it'll take as long.Fucking finally. I really hope we won't have to wait as long for the next chapter...
lolFinished the first chapter of Subahibi, kinda predictable to be honest.
I keep voting for it too every time. Maybe one day it'll happen.Mangagamer's licensing survey is up for 2018.
I voted for Kimi to Kanojo to Kanojo no Koi, Atlach-Nacha and Shin Hayarigami. I'm looking forward to another year of them not being localised.
I was half tempted to write "Fata Morgana fandisc, in case you forgot"
lol
Haha, I'd have written that too but honestly, I loved the main game's localization and seeing as it is my favorite VN, I could wait another 1.5 years for a translation of the same caliber.
I voted for White Album 2 again this year, so I'm really interested to see where it will be in the results line-up.
They're phenomenal games made better with knowledge of the first game.Anyone played the PS4/PSV Utawarerumono games?
Is it okay to start them without playing the PC original? Or are they better after playing the PC game first?

Oh, and this that was posted on the otome thread:

I'm finding it pretty interesting and I want to know how it's going to end, but it's really a weird game. There are some pretty fucked up stuff and weirdly place sex scenes that make me hard to take it seriously at times, it really feels like it's trying too hard.Taruranto you're making want to play Subahibi so bad. I have to resist clicking on those spoilers
How are you liking it so far though?
I finished Muv-Luv Alternative yesterday. That was some ride!
For those who have finished it:
I thought that defeating the original hive would be a more decisive victory than what it was. Was the only effect that the Beta lost the ability to "adapt"? Seems like it could go either way for humanity in that timeline...
I really liked it though although it was so long that I think I'll play some different games now before tackling another VN. When the time comes, any recommendations for similar VNs?
I'm currently playing through Butterfly Soup and I can't stop grinning. It's seriously fantastic so far.
I just have one problem with it. One of the characters makes an explicit Zero Escape reference, but Butterfly Soup is set in 2008 and 999 didn't come out until 2009. Literally unplayable.
Sorry for the double post, and I'm hesitant to fully believe this is it, but uhhh...
Fata Morgana on consoles might be actually happening?
Finished Chaos Child.... What a brilliant game.
Hands down the best science adv title I've played till now.
And I hope Takuru gets out and lives happy life after all the shit he went through T.T
Normal end was the peak of the game.I think the normal end of Chaos Child affected me more than the true end. True end gave me a "that's it?" feeling. With Steins;gate, it was the exact opposite.
